You are right...Do you think for one minute a Man like say, John Wayne...would have back pedaled like this..I know, different place and time. We are all to blame, we have had our heads stuck in the sand while this festering sore that is Leftism has spread its filth into the minds our young.

you are entitled to your opinion and other people theirs. just because you don't agree doesn't make it wrong!

The Lesson of Drew Brees

It's okay to admit fault. It's okay to have an open mind and listen to others. It's okay to learn and grow, and it takes a strong person to admit when they're wrong.

Much respect for Brees for that

The lesson is you generally cannot depend on your black "friends' on matters of race.

It is stunning, but not the least bit surprising, that some of his teammates turned on him because he doesn't support kneeling during the national anthem. What's next? Boot someone off a team because they listen to country music and hate rap?

Drew picked a race, and now he is stuck in a corner.

No. The lesson is that Drew was an idiot when he commented on it. Look at Paul Mainieri’s comment; it is masterful. Brees should have said something like that, or he should have said something mealy-mouthed that didn’t really mean anything at all. How about, “I don’t know, but it’s a shame to see so many people suffering.”

He wasn't wrong. That's the problem with all this.

Maybe he stepped back and heard something that changed his mind?

I agree, never apologize or give into these people. It is a victory to them.

Probably the most important thing to come from all of this. If your opinion doesn’t align with the cancel culture it’s a lose lose

Waiting for BowlJackson to justify how liberals are so tolerant of opposing opinions and how this is all overblown by conservatives
