I doubt he would declare after only 1 season as a starter. He'd have to put up Burrow numbers to even consider that

What?

He would have to put up the best numbers in the history of college football to even consider going pro?

No, dude. He doesn't need 60 TD passes and to shatter every record there is to be a high draft pick.

If Brennan has a traditionally All-SEC type year with something 30 TDs/8 INTs and showcases that howitzer of an arm he has, he could easily be a 1st or 2nd round pick and go pro.

Maybe so. I just don't know a lot of QBs that declare early after one season starting unless they have ridiculous production. I haven't researched it either so there may be precedent.

I don't think his highlights show him under much pressure. Would like to see him perform under pressure

Nuss does need to clean up his throwing motion. I’m not trying to put the kid down just a lot of movement getting the ball in a throwing position.
Kid def can throw a deep ball!!

The latter portion of his JR highlights show him scrambling and throwing under pressure multiple times. What's impressive is that he's able to roll right or left and deliver on target with velocity.

Chase, Marshall and McMath gone after this year which will be the top 3 targets this year, you think it would be weird to see him declare?

I'm sure he knows a guy that can tell him how to throw a football the right way for his body/arm/shoulder. Not everyone's motion looks great visually, but their core mechanics could be good. I'm guessing he's had some pretty good coaching up his entire life about getting the ball out properly.

True, the current SB winning QB and league MVP has a very unorthodox throwing motion.

Yep, a better thrower than Joe in HS. Who knows if he can win the Heisman and be the NFL 1. Nuss is my favorite QB in class bar none.

I'm simply ecstatic that our QB could sit and learn from Joe and will be a RS Jr, then Jonhson and Finley will compete for back up and the other will RS, and then Nuss comes in and RS's MB's senior year, we are done with the days of two true Fr battling it out, we're building quality depth and real competition, good things will follow

Are you blind? he's under pressure several times in his video throwing off his back foot with someone in his face still hitting in stride.

Not a sure thing. Jarrett Lee was son of a coach too.

Joe is pretty fricking big. So physically, no, not really.

Doug Nuss was 6’3” 211 at the NFL combine. Joe Burrow was 6’3.5” 221.

It doesn’t mean much, but the younger Nuss has the genes to end up close to Burrow’s size.

He does need to clean that up, if possible. He's throwing a football like most throw a baseball. But, I will leave it up to the coaches and not demand it.

Pretty certain (without research) he is the 4th Highest ranked QB recruit in LSU history, pretty big deal.

1. Perrilloux
2. Russell
3. Harris
4. Nuss

(No Shep doesn't count)
