1200 state employees diverted? Wow.

Has the state of Utah conducted antibody testing? [no]

Contact Tracing may be "amost impossible" once the population's antibody rate reaches 4%. (per Stanford professor Dr. Jay Bhattacharya - at 9:30 of YouTube video
LINK )

**************
Mike Pence from 4/24/20 WH presser: (20:23)
quote:

"And in Utah, Mr. President, governor Gary Herbert told us that he actually diverted 1200 state employees to do contact tracing in their state. In the last 36 hours, 23,000 residents have also signed up for what they’re calling their Healthy Together app and they have 50 different testing locations across Utah and have tested 82,000 people in the state already."

Contact Tracing seems like a colossal waste of effort. By the time you found out someone was infected, especially in an urban area, they would have interacted with too many people for it to be at all useful.

It’s also disturbing from a freedom and privacy standpoint.

It is rumored that Trump has his sights on Kevin Bacon to lead the Contract Tracing Unit of the Corona Virus-19 Task Force, whom he believes can knock out contact tracing in seven steps.

Only you and the Stanford guys have given this study any degree of support. Everyone else I have read have slammed the study.

Is OP against contact tracing? Seems a silly thing to be upset about. It’s standard practice for a number of infectious diseases, and it can save lives the old fashioned way, by addressing medical risks before someone becomes a medical patient.

There’s really nothing to debate here.
