Shutdown until vaccine means there won't be many businesses left.

I'm worried they are using this as a negotiating point to get us to happily accept their real plan, whatever that might be.

At best they are just asking for a public outcry so they can wash their hands of the consequences of opening up.

I agree. Lots of baws here thought our benevolent politicians wouldn’t get drunk on power.

All you people worried about losing your jobs or your favorite restaurants think about all the other things we could lose by opening up. Think about the person of size that’s at risk in the hover round at Walmart. Think of your favorite nurse in the tik tok dancing video

It doesn't seem real that we are now in a time where our governor will not allow life to continue as normal until individual citizens have taken blood tests or a vaccine.

People do but they get worn down and politicians are extremely sneaky and manipulative. As soon as a government is created it seeks to increase power and control.

frick that. shite needs to stay opening back up May 1st. Slowly ramp things up. Let restaurants have 20-30 people in there at a time spread out, etc.

So there’s a literal global pandemic killing people and all the Louisiana “baws” on this site want to revolt based on what the governor “might” do or not do, which will be the same as what the rest of the country does.

Brilliant minds on this site, I tell you.

Good question. I’ve done my part in that I still go to the store whenever possible. Interact with family that isn’t immunodeficient whenever possible. But to your point, I’ve seen far more “stay home so I can work” type shite from family and friends (not Facebook crap) then I’m pleased about seeing.

I put this shite right at the feet of the Louisiana Republican party.

We elected a Democrat TWICE!

He is just following orders from Washington.

I’m sorry every other country’s life style and health care system sucks dick compared to ours. Let’s just do what everyone else is doing because someone in China ate a bat and Italy sold their souls to the communist money.

I’m ending my shutdown Friday. I have done everything the government has asked me to do but Saturday I’m having 20 people over and we are cooking crawfish and drinking beer all day. I’m done with this shite
