was not a face mask. hand went by side of face mask but never grabbed it. and yes pissed off about the false start not being called also. Basically we beat USC that day on the field with probably the greatest O-line in NCAA history and a multitude of NFL players. That loss put us on the map and made tiger stadium the place no one wanted to play. charles White flipped me the bird coming out of the visitors tunnel. I was right above him yelling he sucked. 17 yrs old and slightly buzzed.

people say this but, it wouldn't have given lsu the win. lsu would still need to put a drive together and score, something lsu had not been doing well in that game.

Good one

People in this thread are mixing up "obvious angry moments everyone remembers" and "underrated angry moments". Underrated angry moments are moments from either crappy seasons so no one remembers or random things that happened in games that people might have forgotten.

2009 PP7 Alabama "interception".. no shite
2010 Tennessee game... uh duh
2006 Auburn... am I on crack?

Arkansas 2008.. good
Alabama 1999.. bingo
Tyson Jackson judo chop.. nailed it

Another disappointing game was a road loss to a Vanderbilt team that was less talented than LSU. In the last minute of the game, Todd Kinchen caught what looked like the game winning td pass, but a very questionable offensive pass interference call stole the game from the Tigers
that was right in front of us. that did suck. didn't infuriate me nearly as much as quincy carter for heisman game or the nc st bball debacle or losing regionals/supers at home

Angriest you can possibly be after a win.

The level of dumbassery by Miles and JJ in that last few minutes defies logic.

And, if you watch the refs when Nikita shot, they were holding their hands signalling that the shot would have counted, not waiving it off as being late.

When he missed, they ran off the court very quickly.

Of course he did miss it, and they might have been able to overturn on video even back then. No guarantee Joe would have hit the shot either. So, we will never really know.

Still, a lot of things had to go against us to lose that one and I'm still convinced that the refs made some of them happen.

Cheers & GEAUX TIGERS!

1993 Arkansas game in Tiger Stadium. LSU was 5-5 and needed a win to go to a bowl. Arkansas rushed for over 400 yards and 3 different dudes had over 100 yards rushing. Miserable day sitting in the student section.

1993, Jason Kidd going coast to coast to beat us in the 1st round of the tournament. Not that it would have mattered Duke would have skull drug us in the next round.

I still have a mark on a wall where I kicked it when UK took the lead just before the Bluegrass Miracle happened.

Weird, I was at ALL THREE of those, and the first two were in the rain so it was all the more depressing. I stayed until the final gun for 58-3, just to remember how that felt. Also, don't forget, we scored first in that game!

I was there for that one, one week after one of the most exciting moments in Tiger Stadium history, stomping on FSU for a spot in the Orange Bowl, the night it rained oranges. The next week, it just rained.
