Why should we have faith in Woodward making the right move with Pawl?

For all the hype that Woodward had when he was hired, he has done absolutely nothing thus far.
The Box is worse than ever and it’s pretty clear Paul is simply collecting a paycheck at this point. There is not an ounce of enthusiasm within that program.
What has Woodward done to give us confidence that he’ll not only rid us of Mainieri but will find the best young coach in the country?
I’m afraid I don’t share the confidence in Woodward that many of you seem to possess.

Woodward is a weathervane political type.

Did you expect him to walk in the door, fire every coach, and then start over? What exactly are you expecting?

What changes did you expect him to make to the baseball stadium year one? What are you expecting from Paul this year?

He hasn't done anything at all to this point. Maybe he will do great things, but there's nothing so far to suggest he will, beyond the hopes and expectations of fans.

What have you expected him to do, at this point, that he hasn't? Just curious.
He kept a head football coach, who won a national title. Should he have fired him when he got hired? I'm confused as to what some of you are wanting.

Woodward has shown at other programs that he isn't afraid to do whatever it costs to go out and get the best for his program. Chris Peterson was probably the best hire in the PAC 12 in the last decade, and whether this board wants to admit it, Jimbo Fisher is doing just fine at A&M right now. He should reach 10+ wins next season, but for now he's on a good pace there.
What exactly did you want Woodward to do to this point? O was already hired, and Maineri got the Joe Alleva special with a ridiculous contract raise and extension. Was Woodward supposed to fire pawl after going to a super regional?
Woodward knows the SEC and knows Alex Box is a far cry from the class of the conference. I'd imagine he's looking into possible improvements. For now his priority is fundraising for Will Goat Wade's facility promises which SHOULD be priority.
Our baseball program is profitable but barely. We are not going to hand over millions to PAWL, even if this season is a disaster. But the seat is officially scalding if he really does that poorly this year.

He hired Sark at Washington which was a good hire and he highly connected. He’s an alum and wants the best for LSU. I’m not saying he’s the savior but he has more skin in the game than some outsider.

Well, for starters, he’s not Joe Alleva.
I’m sorry, but that’s in the plus column for him already. CPM would’ve already bent Alleva over for a raise and an extension thru 2035 after losing to Nicholls.

Fans destroyed Alleva for tailgating, parking, fan experience and concessions. Woodward didn't make a single change to any of those things. He couldn't do anything? Nothing?
We didn't expect him to fire coaches, but maybe he could do something about the complaints fans had with Alleva. Thus far, it still looks like Joe's in charge.

Specifics. What should he have done? Free parking? Lower concession prices? What???

People act like Woodward is a God around here but I haven't been all that impressed so far.
At least he isn't Alleva

You’re yelling at parked cars here, muchacho. Woodward has been on the job for 10 months. What did you expect him to change with the football game day experience in 4 months?

I think most fans want improvements to the fan experience, concessions, parking, tailgating. Something.
He inherited coaches, and he mostly lucked up there. Seriously, what has he done to improve LSU or enhanced things for the fans. That's his job, and fans crushed Alleva for not improving things. Woodward hasn't done one single thing. Not one. We could have gone without an athletic director for the last year and we would be in the same place we are.

Ok. Feel free to answer my previous questions. I'm genuinely curious to know people's answers.

Dude, I get so tired of this shite! I know for a fact that Skip Bertman would have more pull in the coaching search mainly because Woodward wold ca Skip first to ask what he thought

Once again, you didn't answer a single thing I asked. What should/could he have done to improve those things? Give me specifics. I want to agree, or disagree with you, but you are giving me nothing.

I’ll say it again........ he was on campus 4 months before football season started. What did you expect?
