For those that have dropped any of the satellite tv providers, do you have any regrets?

We already have subscriptions to Netflix,Hulu,Amazon Prime etc.. Paying almost $200 every month for Directv just doesn't make sense any longer.

Lol you are not doing it right. Swap dtv and dish every 2 yrs when contracts up. Get all promos/free premium channels. Bill for $80 month, rinse and repeat when contract is up

Feels great. Just wish I had alternatives to having to pay for cable internet. Hopefully soon

I cut cable but don’t have any TV streaming (I am more into audio. I have Spotify and Sirius. Thinking about getting nugs).
I have no regrets about now watching very little Tv (I do have an antenna to sometimes watch local news)

No regrets. I no longer watch tv other than LSU and Saints football. Other than that, wife watches her crap on youtube. Son has a youtube tv subscription and we also have Prime but sitting down and watching the tv has ended for me.

I’m paying $62 a month with directv with HBO. When the price goes up I call and threaten to cancel and they drop the price back down. I believe I have around 200 channels. If you’re paying $200 you’re doing something wrong.

Yes, got a good deal from Cox cable and re-attached the cord.

Was clearing out some old emails and I found an invoice for DirecTV for $130ish. No ragerts at all about dropping them, Netflix, Disney+, Prime and Hulu do the job well for me.

I switched to Hulu TV w/Netflix and HBO and locked in a lifetime internet price with Centurylink. My bill is almost 60% less than when I had my cable and internet bundled with Cox for the exact same service.

Nothing is streamlined. Nothing feels effortless.

Waiting for an app to load, what provider has what, channels in alphabetical order and having to set favorites to make simple up and down changes happen, everything streams so there is a lot of lag...a lot of lag.

Hulu can suck a dick too. Pay about 40 a month and still have to watch commercials on shite I saved to the DVR. Then the shite you save gets deleted if Hulu doesn't have the rights any longer, so saved 'Cars' to the DVR that I recorded off TBS or Disney, my daughter asks to watch it and pull it up only to find out Hulu won't let me play it. Still shows I recorded it, just won't let me watch it.

Going to try Youtube TV in the next few weeks since it is the flavor of the month. Have to keep ESPN year round for Football and F1

I was an early adopter, cut the cord in 2012 and have never looked back. 3 kids, two of which have only ever known streaming.

Nope Hulu takes care of all LSU and Saints games.

We already had Netflix and Prime.
