No, nothing is up. Burch committed and signed on ESD with the agreement that he would announce on grannys B-day. Today was a ceremony put on by the school, and the "fake signing" was on blank paper. It was ceremonial only, which is why mom flipped the blank paper so quickly. Grannys b-day is in a couple days. He will officially announce then and the signed post dated documents will already be in USCe possession. There really has been no games except in the eyes of LSU fans. He committed but wanted to honor his granny, and enjoy the recruiting process.

The whole granny thing started with Uncle James.
ABSOLUTELY NO LINK OR CREDIBLE PEOPLE LINKED.

He then turns around and barks at other posters for not using links.

Difference is, I never said "100%" and I admitted on multiple it was my opinion based on player recruiting timeline, many articles, tweets, and TD posts.

Nice way to wiggle out of that one.

well if thats the case, and im not say it isnt, do we really want a kid who is here because his mom wants him here? while i would love him here if his heart is not in it it would be better if the kid was at South Carolina.

I remember the Biletnikoff winner almost ended up at Florida and was in tears when signing the LOI. Not sure if that was elation displayed. But it worked out for everyone.

College is a different world and you may want to go there with your friends because it feels comfortable. But this decision should not be made based on that alone. And a good parent will try to get you to recognize that before you go in with unrealistic expectations. You don't know what decisions those friends will make in a semester or a year. Maybe they determine college isn't for them or they transfer. It's important for him to understand everyone has their own path walk.

Stingley, Fulton, and Stevens were all 5s. Delpit was a 4.

From a parents perspective, If the kid wants to go to South Carolina, mom hopefully will respect his wishes as it should be his decision.

From an LSU fans perspective, I’d like to thank mom for her service

From @VisorSportsSC (USCe sports coverage twitter account):

“While nothing is concrete, Vizor has been told there has been consistent communication between the Burch camp and LSU throughout the day today. Burch is said to still be “very conflicted”. This one is not over, and LSU is not out of it. #Gamecocks #VizorSZN”

It’s pretty shitty if his mom won’t sign his letter to USC. I don’t want to get kids like that. Reminds me of the Alex Collins saga. Mom wanted him to sign with Miami but he wanted to go to Arkansas and she stole his LOI and ran off with it. He had to get another letter and he got his dad to sign it.

The crazy thing about this whole saga is that he can, in theory, stretch this thing out until the signing deadline of April 1st.

Yikes!

Idk how much more clearly to spell this out for you. If you’re looking for credible, verified, reputable sources THE RECRUITING BOARD ON NSD is not for you. Just wait for tweets from LSUs football account if you need information to the standard you’re asking.

Gleaning anything from this board is all parsing information, following trends, ignoring trolls, and formulating a half arse guess. And after you do all that, throw it all out the window, and you’ll have a 40/60 guess that might be right 33.33% of the time

He's not. He was looking to BE the source. Burch not sending his LOI in didn't mean anything because he "signed" in December and We were all dumb for thinking there was anything to it.

TODAY MEANT NOTHING. Let it go.

I will forum ban myself if he signs with LSU. And I'll be happy to do it, LOL.

Every post he's made since has been to either justify his original idiotic post or twist his original intent.

He's an idiot and a perfect example of why this site needs an ignore feature.

I feel like the mom was originally pro USCe, while the son was pro LSU. As O developed a relationship with the mother (very smart move), she changed her tune as she realized that her son (and she) would be taken care of. In the meantime, as the decision approached, the son began to worry about missing home/his friends and started to think more about USCe.

We now have a mother that is determined for her son to play for Coach O, and a player that is truly torn. That's not to say that he doesn't want to be at LSU, but his wheels are turning now more than ever.

I feel bad for the kid. I don't think he's doing this for attention. It's just truly a really tough decision for him.

Winning post. Your post makes the most sense out of all scenarios mentioned.

Tell.me who they played in January

J. Clowney did not play in January either. But he was the #1 NFL pick in 2014 at, you guessed it...South Carolina. Take your nonsense out of here and just pull for him to come to LSU. You don't have to talk shite about S. Carolina. That school worked out for:

J. Clowney
Sterlin Sharpe
George Rogers
John Abraham
Jonathan Joseph
Duce Staley
Robert Brooks
others
