I was so nervous the entire game. When Clemson went up and scored first, my heart started pumping harder.

Then we evened the score. Okay, great. Tied game again. 0-0 basically.

But Clemson didn't give up. We went ahead by a good bit twice but they came back and made it very close.

I spent the whole game on my feet pacing back and forth. I kept waiting for Clemson to make a comeback like they did against OSU. The curse of 2011 was at the forefront of my mind. "We can NOT lose this game", I kept thinking. "We HAVE to put them away".

I wasn't comfortable until the end when we went up 42-25.

"WHEW! Ok, NOW this is ours. They can't come back from this in the time remaining", I thought. It was finally time to sit down and enjoy watching the clock wind down to 0:00.

I sat down on the sofa and as I watched the team take a knee in victory formation I just sat in awe. Then my eyes filled with happy tears. The wife didn't see that though so I'm good

Anyone else felt like they couldn't properly enjoy the game due to nerves?

It’s the NC that’s how it’s supposed to feel.

So because it was a good game and not a rout you couldn't enjoy it?

That's one of the reasons I DID enjoy it

The nerves are what make the game enjoyable. It's adrenaline filled anxiety. Who the hell wants to watch a game completely relaxed?

Go watch golf

Same. I can relax and pay closer attention to the plays since I know how the game will end.

If it had gotten to 24-7 I was gonna be nervous.

But our D is phenomenal and the reason we won.

I enjoyed every second of it. The first quarter less so, but still I knew we had this game. I firmly believed that if Clemson couldn't score 50 then we would win. I'm a bit disappointed we didn't get to 50 ourselves but I feel like we could have easily if that would have been their goal. After the Alabama game, I decided that I wouldn't question this teams ability or heart. It's fun to watch a team where you just KNOW they are going to win. Proud of the defense for not allowing it to be a shootout. But I feel like we could out shoot anyone.

yes, but did not pace.

2nd qtr the Tigers were back in stride, the D making plays and pressure on TL flipped it.

Completely agree! The thrill of watching our favorite team in sports is when the competition is very tough and our team prevails; that's only my humble opinion. GEAUX TIGERS!!!

It was the same for me, and I have a stupid belief that every time I record a game we lose so I didn’t record any games this year. Now I want to sit back and watch it and I don’t have it recorded lol. I’m sure I will catch a replay sooner or later

My experience exactly. I was miserable. I enjoyed watching it again last night.

Ha! Same here. My wife asked me "why don't you sit down?"
Did not listen to her, was very anxious and passed it on to my dog. Dog was nervous as hell b/c I was nervous and he kept going back and forth climbing the stairs, he would not stay still. Then came his staring look (I guess expecting my reaction)...anyway, I honestly felt that after the first quarter and a half, Clemson was going to take it away.

I wasn't nervous before or during the game. This team had it. Totally enjoyed the experience.
