Everybody knew coming out he was a prototypical QB with his size and arm strength. But the accuracy was horrible at times.
Now in his second year with the Bills, he’s in the playoffs. So for people that know, is he a franchise QB? Game manager? Still developing? Potential to be better?
Curious to see what you guys think.

I feel he is like, if Tebow could throw a pass.

He’s worth building around on rookie QB deal. Great runner, improving accuracy, definitely a leader. Mature and fans love him.
He basically working this season with a brand new offense around him. Not many huge passing games but they do run the ball well and he’s a big part of that.
His supporting offensive cast is mediocre at best so it will be interesting to see if they break the bank for someone like AJ Green in the offseason.

I think is currently all these things wrapped together. He is a big QB strong guy with a rocket arm. Very athletic who moves really well.
Bills have done a good job of molding their offense around Allen's strengths. Coming out of Wyoming, accuracy (completion %) was a question & still is. He's definitely a work in progress there. The Bills can give him some help though with upgrades at the skill positions.

He's still not accurate, but he has shown enough potential that you see if you can build around him.

Mitch Bortles has 1 more year of experience (12 more career starts), has an offensive-minded HC, and has better weapons. Last year, Allen's WR1 was Robert Foster
Sam Darnold is probably a better comparison since they are in the same draft class.
