There is a pretty in depth coffee thread in here somewhere.
Also, go to specialty coffee brewers association site. There is a list of approved brewers, meaning they reach the right temps for the water on a consistent basis. Which in turn gives you the best tasting coffee.
If you’re going to drop $200, you just assume buy one off this list. There is a ninja on there I think, but no clue which one it is.

I've had this plain old Bunn now for about 5 years and love it. It's so quick to brew because it keeps hot water always ready. I never was a fan of the Keurig style coffee makers.

Durability would be my concern with the Ninja. Can’t speak to the Cuisinart. I have an OXO Barista Brain and make one cup of coffee every morning, so not sure a “single cup feature” is worth narrowing your search over.
I’d look at:
OXO Barista Brain
Technivorm Moccamaster
Bonavita BV Series
Those three are consistently ranked as the best drip coffee makers available.

I got that Cuisinart for Christmas....made my first pot this morning. Great coffee maker....only negative I've found so far is one that seems to affect most of the brands with the single serve option.....there will be splatter for normal sized coffee mugs.

I had picked out the same Ninja you linked, but my wife picked up the Hot and Cold for Christmas.
Ninja Hot and Cold
After a week, we love it. The option to use loose tea is nice, and the milk frother just froths; it doesn't steam, so it's it's a snap to clean. Comes right off. Nice stainless carafe too.

The coffee snobs will snort in derision, but for a single cup maker, the Black and Decker DCM18S is all you need. Mine delivers an 8oz, 155 deg. cup in under 5 min. Easy clean, no strain, no pain. I use #1 paper filters to ease the dump, but they are not necessary. Dirt cheap on Amazon.

Have one of these also. Fantastic.

Honestly, for the vast majority of consumers a Mr. Coffee is fine. Most people aren’t grinding fresh beans with a good quality burr grinder each morning, so the benefits of a high end drip like the Technivorm, OXO, or Bonavita would be lost on them anyway.

I’ve been eyeing that Ninja Hot & Cold. How is it making cold brew?

I bought a Ninja last year with a coffee grinder and it made pretty good coffee. I have the stainless carafe.
I recently purchased the old lady a Cuisanart Electric Kettle to make her tea. Ive been using that to make French Press. It's much better IMO than the Ninja coffee even though it is good, and not much more of a hassle.

I made a cup just to try; I really don't know what it's supposed to taste like, so I can't compare it to any other cold brew.
Less acidic bite is noticeable. And it takes like 15 minutes to make.
