Over $30k raised in less than an hour. Jumped over $100k. I feel like it doesn't matter what the goal is raised to, it's going to be surpassed.

I also want to give a shout out to the LSU Food Pantry that gives food to LSU students who are food insecure.
For those posters worried about "hungry people in Louisiana".
About the LSU Food Pantry:
The mission of the LSU Food Pantry is to provide supplemental food to students in need who may experience hunger or food insecurity.
Food insecurity is a prevalent issue on college campuses nationwide that goes largely unaddressed. Some students may experience situational hunger or insecurity while others may demonstrate chronic hunger or insecurity and a need for continued support. Regardless of circumstances, no student should have to choose between food and other basic needs. The Food Pantry exists to help ease that choice and provide support.

When my family lost everything in Katrina, we were lifted up by individuals all over the world. I volunteer locally and support local projects but I always look for ways to reach outside my circle and lift up other communities who need it. I’ll pay it forward from Katrina for the rest of my life.
