nah

his impact on team defense here has been negligible. they stink with him, they'll stink without him

He’s been bad this year if you’ve actually watched any of the games

on defense, no he hasn't. He has been good as usual defensively. The interior defense has been atrocious, so has Lonzo.

On offense, yea he has been below expectations

Odds that either Nunn or Herro become as good as Jrue? Pretty slim.

Dragic, Jrue, Jimmy, Bam... that's a sqaud. And it isn't some kids.

I think Jrue is one of the two or three best on-ball defenders in the NBA. His help defense, though, isn't so great. He's sometimes slow to rotate.

So, I think it depends on what y'all are talking about.

Who cares about defense bro. So you wouldn’t trade Jrue for Harden? This is an offense centered league now

if that’s the case we’d be finals contenders every year under Gentry.

How about this?

Heat receive Jrue/Melli/Frank, and get out of the tax.

Magic receive Dragic/Okafor, maybe a pick of some sort.

Pels receive Gordon/Herro/Robinson/Waiters

I don't either. Tell him to stay in Miami for all i care. I'd prefer he not step foot in the Pelicans facility. Need him to make the money work. You want James Johnson instead?

Lol true, i don’t know the kind of guy James Johnson is but if he’s a good teammate and locker room guy I’ll take him over Waiters just for that alone

Winslow, Leonard, Herro, 2025 1st

Holiday, Okafor, Moore

That would be the minimum I would consider. I don't want to get rid of Holiday though

Herro and Zion together would be fun. I am not opposed to trading Jrue because lets face it he deserves better than this

If we could get Bam and Herro for Jrue, I’d be ecstatic. At the same time we wouldn’t have a main ball handler I’d have complete trust in

The only thing with Herro is that's another guy that needs shots.. Jrue can be a positive guy for the team just with his defense, especially when Zion comes back and takes some of the offensive load

I think it’s intriguing but I’m not sure what you do with Waiters. He is not the type of locker room presence this team is interested in but he has almost 2 years left on his deal.
