It is what it is, I’m guessing he ends up at Ole Miss unless they have a coaching change. Don’t see Bama having room for him.

I'm not going to speculate on who else might have to look elsewhere. But I suspect there will still be others.

sucks to lose a player like him but just shows how off the hook good recruiting is going right now. Not a lot of weak links in this class, so some good ones, that in the past would have been big blows to the class to lose, are going to have to go to make room to make room for some guys you just can't turn away. When you have to lose a guy who has a good chance to be playing in the NFL one day to make room for other recruits you like better you are in a good spot.

Sad that we would reject a Louisiana recruit that had been committed and loyal to LSU . We are playing a dangerous game with in-state recruits.

It's hard to say at this point. Have several already committed and just waiting to to public. So basically draw a straw for one of those.

Nature of the beast. No one likes it, but in order to take the next step you have to play the big picture game.

Why the downvotes?

I’m saying he was right. I was wrong.

I’m stupid. He’s smart.

He’s very good-looking. I’m not attractive.

Do we still have 30 commitments (or 29 now I guess)?

I am all about prioritizing LA kids and also taking players from other hotbeds like DFW and Houston each cycle, but lets be honest, if you can take it national and get higher rated players you would be retarded to turn that down.

Do you want to be 10-2 every year with a natty run once every decade or a perennial competitor year in and year out?

That’s basically the decision here.

To be fair and accurate, Teauxler nailed this one. Not a shot at Vol. Only idiots believe he’s not connected.

He still has plenty of time to make a good choice for him.

I do hope we let the others know now as well so they have a chance to find another fit. Then all of the speculation can end as well.

What did teauxler say?
And wow, if LSU is cutting ties with this kid there’s some all world talent wanting to get on board. Can’t lie I’m surprised about this split , a solid 4 star DL recruit at a position of need.

In-state recruits played a dangerous game with us for the last 8 years...this action by the coaching staff will put all future classes on notice...LSU is here and we are here to stay get on board early and don’t flirt with the enemy and ultimately we are recruiting the very best step your game up or you will be left out...Jalen Lees tape for a DT may be tops in LA big it’s nowhere near tops in the country...
