That video brings back some memories. A freshman Eddie Kennison, Gabe Northern, Robert Toomer, Jay Johnson. For the bad guys Palmer & Kitchens.
IIRC, Curley signed four RB (including Toomer & Johnson), each Mr Football in their respective states. Too bad that one game probably extended Hudson Hallman’s career for another year.

Robert Davis, Artie Moore. I don’t know if they were Mr. Footballs but they were highly touted.

Is Martin calling our QB "David Howard?" Thank God we don't have to suffer those JP Alabama games anymore.
I don't think that game bought Curley another year. I think Curley had almost a $200K buyout in 1993. I think if Dean and Davis had their way Curly would have coached through the end of his contract. Buying out Curley in '94 is the big reason we settled on DiNardo.
