Screw In Wafer Style LED Lights for Can Fixtures - Anyone have experience with these?

Was looking for interior LED flood lights for 6" cans and noticed this type of wafer light that screws in to the can and clips in. Includes the light and trim. Does anyone have any experience with this type of light?

yep, they are beyond easy to install and look nice & professional and no more 'light bulb roulette' with 8 different types of bulbs in your cans.
i cringe when i'm at someone's house and i see twisty CFLs mixed with regular bulbs, clear bulbs, frosted bulbs and BR30s in their cans. looks absolutely awful.

These are tGoat of LED inventions in the last decade. I replaced so many lights in my 40+ year old house with these.

Thanks guys. Is Sunco a good brand? I also see Bbounder as another brand with a similar product. Those are the only two i see that have this style.
Also, this takes the place of the trim and bulb, correct?

yep. just remove the old trim and screw this in (like a lighbulb) and the trim body just snaps into place. i have cree trim and to remove it you you twist the trim and the 3 metal legs collapse. to reinstall it just snap the legs back out & push it into the housing and it will suck it into place.
i dont recognize this brand but hit up lowes or home depot and try a few out first to find the lighting & style you like the best then buy it.
dont get sucked into something you haven't tried out first. these are as easy as swapping a bulb so try a couple different styles before settling on what you're going to replace everything with.
also, this crap changes every year so dont buy a few planning to 'add as you go' because in 6 months the style you picked may no longer be available.
budget to replace everything at the same time.

HOLY MOLY
yes, then i would look at a couple in person (mainly its the ribbed look vs smooth) and make sure you're comfortable with the ability to dim them (not all LEDs dim to the same levels) and then get them.
but i do highly recommend looking at them in person first which is a problem nobody had back in the days of incandescent bulbs. you're shopping for your lighting color these days.

Keep in mind that some are warmer than others. The light that is.
Most are probably dimmable, but check to make sure.

I used several of these (this brand) in my house. They are very bright and easy to install. I have one that is out at this point, but the other ~50 or so are fine. These are 3000K so they are a little yellow. I used some others from HD that had selectable switches for certain areas with a much whiter light.

I used these for exterior use under my house and they work great. They are bright and able to dim.

i bought some utilitech ones from lowes last night to install at my current house just to see. man that was easy... will get a few more styles/light colors then decide. But i think with a $6.50/ea budget i should be good.
Posted on 10/22/19 at 8:14 am to Coon
Beware of the Utilitech ones. I bought about 20 of the standard LED bulbs and have had 8 or of them fail within a year.

Highjack:
I bought 20 of the 4" like your picture by mistake from my work and needed 6". If any one wants a deal let me know.

Woah, they should have a warranty though if you want to deal with that.
