I'm not about to start another thread on this site, but I'm sure 389453409580945 more people will see this thread before the night ends.

I'm a huge Astros fan, so I have a question.

Where would you rank Bregman in terms of most successful current LSU alumni, from a sports perspective?

It's just how it goes, Texas plays awful against awful teams and plays incredible against incredible teams. Herman did that at UH, lost to Navy and Uconn and beat FSU and OU.. at HOUSTON. It's been the same when he is here, I hope last week is the first step to being consistent. When Texas isn't the pick, that's when they show up.

Whatever you need to tell yourself. But there's no way a one dimensional team is beating this defense. Y'all keep bringing up Georgia. LSU beat them too- when Georgia still cared. LSU is better at every position except maybe quarterback. But I'll take Joe's leadership over your boy's legs any day. Speaking of your quarterback, you better pray he doesn't get hurt. It will be an absolute bloodbath if he does. He's the best running back.

I’m not sure anyone explained this to you, but you are permanently logged out after your grace period unless you post pics of your S/O.

We do realize in the case of Texas fans, the photographer is likely a veterinarian.

As a Texas fan, what should I expect from LSU? I know the replies will be dramatic, but what position groups do you expect to dominate? We all know about the highly touted DBs, but what else is your strength?

I can’t imagine why people have such disgust for Texas... I just can’t see it.

I think Texas will struggle to run the ball effectively enough to keep from becoming one dimensional. They’ll end up having to throw and this defense will relish every bit of that. We will lean on the defense and ehlinger will have to become unstoppable and completely take over the game in order to win.

I’ll take our defense in that one. This team has a quiet swagger. They’re really good, they know it, and they are all business.

Plus, apparently now we can score too. Feels like the waking of a sleeping giant. longhorn is on the menu. Tigers about to feast.

Regardless of the outcome of the game this year and next, you will be saying that a lot. You will say that if you make it into Tiger Stadium next year. You will say that if you make it to a tailgate or drive down sorority row. You will say that all day Saturday when you get called Tiger Bait for the first time in your life.

I just love how amped and confident both fan bases are. This game guarantees a combination of both elation and misery to a degree not usually achieved without a major upset.

We are better than you at every single position save QB and I say that's a draw at best cuz I know I wouldn't wanna trade QBs.

But mostly cuz we know our Defense is ALOT better than yours.

Because your QB lost to Maryland, your DB’s are ranked 113th and we have an entire freakin Defense full of future NFL players including 4 first rounders.

Our dline> your oline

This is going to determine the game right here, and I’m not sure if your dline is better than Texas Oline or other way around or they are equals? Texas has a dang good oline coach and a couple of returning starters on Oline plus players that got a lot of experience playing as backups last season...And, for the first time in a while some quality depth on Oline.. This is going to be a true battle in the trenches to watch. If Texas Oline holds up they can burn a ton of clock on offense dinking and dunking there way downfield. They win a lot of games like that just slowly wearing down a defense and keeping the other teams offense off the field. They remind me some of the Texas O when Colt McCoy was there with even less explosive plays. They are good at controlling time of possession and methodically moving the ball downfield when the offense is in a rhythm.

I've been to Tiger Stadium for Alabama, Auburn, and A&M games

I love it, you guys know how to get down. It just isn't home, but if I go somewhere other than Austin I'm getting down in BR.

Why wouldn’t we be confident? We have consistently been one of the top performing teams in the toughest conference in America for the past 20 years. We are battle-tested, veteran team, and we can beat anyone on any given day.

We gave the best defense in all of college football. Not to mention the offense is loaded with talent. Texas will get embarrassed.

I agree, but I think both teams will struggle running the ball and become one dimensional.
The team that sticks with the run even though it isn’t paying huge dividends will eventually make a big play and win the game.
