While Herman has yall going in the right direction I would say your roster has too much turnover compared to a normal year. A majority of that is because Herman is getting yall in the right direction and recruits are coming. That's great that you have Ehlinger but as a team and this early in the season there is a lack of continuity with 16 new, full-time starters. Obviously there wont be that kind of a turnover ever again.

Anything can happen in Football. I don't really like to talk shite much due to that. As a fan, I root for my team and hope that they are prepared to play a tough/hard game every game.

However, I don't mind responding to your list of why you think UT will win. It's a bit nutty. I feel like there will be a LOT of disappointed UT fans who jump off the bandwagon when they realize Texas isn't anywhere near 'back'.

Do you know why he transferred to Kentucky? He got beat out by Stingley, the true freshman who is supposedly “the weak spot of this defense.” And Kelvin Joseph is no scrub. Ryan Clark raved about him throughout last season while he was at LSU.

With that being said, we really hope you guys test Stingley. We are fairly confident you’ll be in for a rude awakening.

Grant Delpit was a consensus All-American at safety in 2018. I'm saying that him and Stearns would start for LSU. That's pretty reasonable.

As for the rest of your defense -- well, Texas lost 8 of 11 starters. No way one of your new guys starts over any of our starters. The front seven is loaded with experience, plus our starting corners are legit -- Fulton was our best corner last year (not Greedy Williams), and Derek Stingley is Patrick Peterson-level good.

You have one guy who would start for us, and that's not an exaggeration. Sorry. Truth hurts.

Good post and looking forward to the game. I believe this will be a great game and no idea what to expect from either team as there is no recent history and only the Georgia game to compare. Both teams soundly beat Georgia which is considered a top team in college football so both teams are good.

Both teams offense's are improved from last year for sure and percentage wise LSU has improved more but I give the Longhorn the edge with the better offense.
Defense for LSU is better even with the loss of White and Greedy and the Longhorn's have a lot of new faces but then again this could be a good thing.

Everything in your post may very well be true but this is your opinion only and I will take our chance's and play the game on the field and not decide this thing on paper
