Thought some of you might want to tune in

Sounds like they know they are in for a cage match

Pretty much everyone can see that our OL is awful. I don't think we turn the corner until something changes on the offensive line.

They also posted a long winded analysis of last year’s offense so apparently they don’t believe we’re making any changes there

Understandably, they seem to be putting a ton of stock into LAST season's Sugar Bowl win over UGA. Perhaps that is a win that propels even greater success this season. However, you can't ignore that (1) MANY of the players from the game vs. UGA won't be suiting up for Texas against LSU and (2) Putting too much emphasis, good or bad, in a bowl game can be a fools errand.

Unlike the regular season, motivation can VERY MUCH be a concern in a bowl game. Aside from the fact UGA's best defensive player voluntarily elected to sit out the game (something that would not have happened in the regular season), how fired up for the Sugar Bowl does any one really think Georgia was? In 2017 they played for the national championship and were a few plays here or there from winning it. In 2018 they were a play or two from getting back to the CFP. Frankly, the Sugar Bowl was a huge letdown for UGA relative to the success they had experienced in the past two seasons.

On the other hand, Texas had just experienced their first winning (regular) season in 5 years. They were playing in their first major bowl game in nearly 10 years!

Who do you think gave more of a shite about being in the Sugar Bowl? For UGA it was a consolation prize. For Texas it was the biggest bowl game in 10 years

Love their “we beat UGA the SEC is a joke”

Conveniently forgetting they lost to fricking Maryland.

It's not the worst breakdown I've seen but def reads like somebody looked at some stats, the roster, and recruiting rankings.

LSU will not blitz "early and often". Watch the tape.

I also don't see how they come to the conclusion that they have a big advantage at the skill positions.

I pray this is how their team is looking at this game. Aranda will wreck their hearts in week 2.

Many are pretty level headed. They know we are more talented across the board. They are banking on our OL sucking. Pretty sure that won’t be the case. Also work Chiasson healthy, we won’t have to blitz as much for pressure

There is common ground to be found there.

The only thing they talked about that has any truth to it is our OLine. I do have concerns there. If Cregg has made any improvements then we win going away

The thing that worries more about the Oline will be the noise in this one. Will be tons of false starts im guessing.
I just hope the Oline is better so sick of saying well it was game 1 or game 2 so that was the reason for all the penalties. Only to be saying the same thing in game 10

If I were them, I'd be focusing on LA Tech first.

Reading that thread, a couple things stuck out.

1. Is this game being played in 2018? because almost every point is about the 2018 team with no mention that we have improved at literally every position group since last year and not much mentioned that UT lost 8 starters on defense.

2. Such a contrast when reading other team's boards. All civil and stuff. Buncha nerds.

3. they are really hanging their hat on that Sugar bowl win as an indicator. A bowl game. from last year. with a huge difference in motivation. As if UT played that well all year.

Yes and we should too. Their Oline is legit. Their Edge rushers are legit. Talented backs and a very good qb. They are young on D but very talented. Anyone who watched the UGA bowl win Should have earned some respect for them. I don’t wanna hear the “UGa was disinterested” crap. It’s Texas n a NY6 so they wanted that win. Bottom line is UGA was outplayed and outcoached. And Oklahoma was pretty damn good and UT split with them as well

I think you have a legit chance vs LSU. But they are unlike the rest of your schedule. Don't tell my fellow Aggies but I'm not pulling for LSU. I love to hate Texas, but I truly hate LSU. I wouldn't ever say I'm pulling for Texas, but I hope LSU does not win this or any other game. We recruit against both schools, and Texas fans are less shitty than LSU fans. (This is a compliment by the way)

Reasonable banter over there. I’m surprised.

That said, they do fail to understand what LSU did to UGA as well. With UGA ramped up.

Their oline scouting is actually pretty accurate but they underestimate the depth chart and stamina on the D.

I like LSU 38-24.
