Context matters people....what’s the 10-2 look like? Did we beat up on the lesser teams only to once again have Bama hold us at arms length without breaking a sweat ? Is he still winning games using the Les formula or do we see the significant progress in modernizing our offense ? Its not a simple question

I believe HIS words where, and I quote {We com'n, and we aint back'n down}.

If he's happy with 2 loses. He needs to go. If LSU fans are happy with 2 loses, well, you know where I'm going with this.

Amazing what people can get used to.

We were supposed to be competing for championships immediately but then the script became a total rebuild

10-2? In the SEC West? If anybody think that makes a hot seat

No, not a hot seat, but until LSU beats bama the seat will always be a little warm. Unless LSU makes it to the CFP, even with another loss to bama, then the seat won't be warm.
I think people are just fed up with losing to the inbred bass turds. I know O is, and so am I. Time to beat those arrogant aholes.

Our national championship season had 2 losses. Les only had less than 2 losses 1 time in his career, and that was with one of the best college defenses of all time.

If LSU were in any other division in any other conference we’d be a favorite to be in the playoffs.

The fact remains that we play in the hardest division in the history of cfb, and because most can’t see that, they fail to see just how strong a program we really are.

We play 5 very strong programs this year. Going 3-2 is a good achievement.

Don’t lie to yourself and say you wouldnt switch places with Clemson’s schedule. And because of that, DABO walks on water.

If yes can't win 10 or 11 games and be in the thick of the playoff race with this team and its leadership and talent then he'll never win shite at LSU.

We replace nearly the entire from 7 on D in 2020 as well as half of the secondary. The excuse will then be "youth."

You think Lester was happy with those 2 loses?

I can agree with everything you mentioned, except...

it will be a few years before we can expect that again

I think Brennan is going to be better than Burrow. 2020, if LSU can develop their oline, I think they will break records on offense. Losing some key defenders after 2019, so they really need some players to step up in 2020. Apu, Marcel, Stingly are going to be stars, need some of these jr's and soph's to develop and step up in 2020.

Since 1963 , go count up how many seasons LSU lost less than 3 games. It might surprise you.

So what are we getting “used to” again?

10-2 is an acceptable record ANY season, even this one. It would be a disappointment for sure, considering this is the year we have the best shot at making the playoff for at least 2 years, unless Myles is just ready to step in where Burrow leaves off.

10-2 doesn't put him on the hot seat, but 9-3 in 2019 sure as frick does.

We’re averaging one NC every 20 years and now we’re “getting used to” 10-2 seasons like we’re above those

Hint we’re not

10-2 depends on the losses. Losing big again to Bama and getting pounded by another SEC team won't put O on the hot seat, but it would be a disappointment.

We need to be legitimately competing for the West, and 2 big conference losses isn't close.

It all depends on your standards. Are we fine with 10-2 and a nice bowl, but not really being close to winning the West? Or do we want more?

Given all of our resources, I want more.

10 and 2 should never put a coach on the hot seat.

And that’s not what put Les on the hot seat as much as the posters in this thread scream it from the top of their lungs.

Since 1963 go count how many times:

LSU won 10 games the previous season
Returned 15 starters
Returned the OC and DC

It might surprise you.
