The coaches that win should feel pretty good, but what about the ones struggling? You think they have a feeling their head is on the chopping block? Curious what coaches get the boot, I mean Scott is a winner so I imagine he tells the coaches to put up or shut up. Who is out the door?

Fargas is, as mentioned above, probably nervous. There’s no reason for her to be employed after she neutered our women’s basketball program.

Coach O is coming off a good season, but this new guy isn’t tied to him like Alleva was. It’ll be interesting to see that dynamic.

Will Wade and Woody should get along just fine.

Those are my predictions thus far

i think most (maybe all) will be a lil more nervous an uptight while feeling out the new guy.

mainly because when one boss is forced out, new guy is typically expected to make changes.

doesn’t mean any of them are necessarily in danger.
just that they are now being viewed under a different microscope than they were before.

AD's aren't "leaders". They're rain-makers. They get the money needed, negotiate contracts, then they get the hell out of the way.

I think O and Woody are gonna get along a lot better than some of you are thinking. He's our coach, W is behind him 100% right now. Let's revisit this after the season, at the earliest.

Wade should be better off. Actually we have a better chance of retaining Wade with Alleva. If he keeps winning and remains the coach he is, LSU and Wad will be both fine.

CPM should certainly be better off. Alleva was generally excessively hard on coaches that won and were not hired by him (See Les Miles). So CPM would have ultimately been his target.

Coach O, if he keeps winning 9-10 games a year and keeps recruiting well will be fine irrespective of whatever the outcome of the Bama game is. However, if his performance falters then I think he will be gone. He would feel more protected if Alleva would have been here.

Beth Torina and DD Breaux should be fine....

Come to think of it LSU athletics is not in a very bad shape despite Joe Alleva.

Fargas is shitting herself because she hasn't been doing a good job. She's likely the first coach processed. Coach O has been doing a decent job and I think the hiring will only push him more.

I don't think any of them will put a lot of thought or stock into it. The job requires winning, I'm sure all of them already were aware.

As anyone in business knows, there's always a little concern when a new boss comes in. They didn't hire you. You never know how you're going to interact with them. Sometimes ADs come in and don't get along with coaches. Hopefully that doesn't happen here. But as far as job security, it will all be based on how they perform. Alleva hated Miles, but Miles kept his job because he continued to win (at least for the most part).

They should all be nervous. 4 years at A&M, one new football coach, one new men’s basketball coach. ADs like their own guys.

Good with new ad

Very happy with Ed o

Grateful for aranda

I'm ok with mainieri.

Wade is a puzzle.
Is he a good coach or just a formerly good recruiter.
I'm more patient than most.
Next year will be down, so far. Everyone left.
Unprecedented mess.

I'll probably get plenty of downvotes from sunshine pumpers, but I felt like Woodward put Orgeron on notice in a kind, indirect way. Almost like: "Ten wins is nice, but if we can't get past Bama, I'll find someone that will."

And I think Woodward is the kind of guy who would make a move at the end of this season, if he had to, and have a plan. He wants to take LSU to the level it needs to be.

Less than ten regular season wins and a loss to Bama this year will get O canned.

LSU’s athletic department is overall, in great standing. I don’t think there are any drastic immediate changes. Woodward is seasoned, and he’s taking over on cruise control. He will act when he needs too. Fargas is the only coach currently on any type of hot seat. Needs a 1 on 1 with Wade, too.

Orgeron may be under pressure because he was Alleva’s choice not Woodward. He must win the SEC this year. Ending the season 3rd in the West won’t cut it this year.
