HAAG: Yeah. I think it was over three feet of wood, and one of the important aspects learned from this was just that this is a very stable bullet that as long as it stays nose forward, it takes quite a bit to stop it. And even though wood is not a more modern simulate for tissue, it also goes to the fact that if you just put it through tissue, like the president's neck, it really doesn't lose as much speed.

It certainly doesn't become deformed like a lot of people would think or expect.

FLATOW: And you discovered that the bullet, when it came out, actually started to tumble.

HAAG: Well, that's true when it goes through a soft tissue simulate, meaning something that simulates muscle tissue in human beings, and there are a number of those. And no matter what Mike and I fired these bullets through, they stayed stable in the tissue simulate, just as they did in John F. Kennedy's upper back and neck. But as soon as the bullet emerged into the air, it starts yawing or tumbling like a badly thrown football.

And that is of great importance when we come to Connally's entry wound.

Oswald was an absolute nut. No intelligence service in the world would've had a guy like him take out their trash.

This is my belief as well. All you have to do is look at his behavior after the shooting. He had no escape plan whatsoever. He just sort of meandered through Dallas drawing an incredible amount of attention to himself.

No high level agency would leave him with no plan for escape and alive. And I know Ruby killed him but that was a day or so after he was arrested, leaving plenty of time for him to be questioned

I dont know what happened, but to think one crazy dude just rolled up out of the blue and "randomly" did this* then you are a fool.

People say this but forget that 18 years later "one crazy dude just rolled up out of the blue" and came damn close to killing Reagan.

And a few years before that, two women pretty much just strolled up to Gerald Ford a month apart and tried to kill him, with one of the women getting a shot off and Squeaky Fromme having him dead center, if she would have chambered a round.

Oswald wasn't the only shooter. The CIA put the French assassin in the bldg next door. They knew Oswald would shoot, but couldn't count on him to shoot straight. Oswald didn't know there was another shooter until he saw the head shot. That's why he knew he was a patsy. He drew the heat while the real shooter was escorted out of the country.

Then there's RFK...

quote:

Robert A. Maheu was such a colorful character that it’s widely believed the television show “Mission: Impossible” was based on him and his private investigative agency.

As an ex-FBI agent, the CIA asked him to handle jobs it wanted to steer clear of, such as lining up prostitutes for a foreign president or hiring the mafia to kill Fidel Castro. For more than 15 years, Maheu and his Washington-based company were on monthly retainer to “The Agency,” CIA records show. And during much of that time, Maheu was the right-hand man to Howard Hughes as Hughes bought up vast swaths of Las Vegas and helped finance CIA operations.

Now, a new book alleges that Maheu may have performed another mission for the CIA: the assassination of Sen. Robert F. Kennedy (D-N.Y.).

A spokeswoman for the CIA declined to comment on the book’s allegations, though she acknowledged that Hughes did finance some CIA operations.

Maheu would have had access to the CIA’s experiments in hypnosis and mind control, which were being conducted at the time in California and elsewhere. That would have enabled him to frame Sirhan Sirhan as a patsy for the slaying of Kennedy, while other gunmen actually fired the fatal shots, argues author Lisa Pease, who spent 25 years researching her book, “A Lie Too Big to Fail."

Correct. Threads like this do make it easy to identify the idiots, however.

Police in the book depository search believed it was a sham investigation and 2 dogged assassination attempts for years. One claimed the shell casings originally found and reported by Walter Cronkite on the news weren't the correct caliber of Oswald's gun and later Cronkite changed his story.

If you believe the Warren Commission report than I guess you believe everything our government says. FYI at the time there were several Senators that called bullshite on the Warren Commission report.

Ask where Hale Boggs was going to come down on Warren Commission report.
Ask what happened to Hale Boggs?
Ask where is Hale Boggs?
Another coincidence?

I believe Garrison was right. I feel Garrison was vindicated when it came out not too long ago that Clay Shaw WAS a CIA operative. The JFK movie to a lot of liberties with some facts but the basic thought that this was a coup d'tat is correct. If you read Garrison's book, On The Trail of The Assassins, you will find a few pictures taken in Dealy (sic) Plaza wher all of the main (except for Johnson) players in this drama from CIA to the Mob had front row seats in the crowd assembled around the killing zone to view the hit.

Don't ever believe your government when they tell you something. Whatever they tell you has been cycled through levels and levels of plausible deniability tests that you rarely ever get the truth.

Oswald was a patsy and Kennedy was shot by someone else from closer range. Your government is great but don't ever underestimate your government's ability to kill you when it serves their purposes and blame it on someone else.

True...let me rephrase. God only knows who all was involved with the assassination.

He was dropped off at the airport for the trip to Alaska by a young congressional aide named William Jefferson Clinton.

On the other hand, in 1993 WJC asked what really happened to JFK. Vince Foster got offed as a warning (which is why Ken Starr concluded that it was a suicide).

First paragraph is true. Second us a theory I've heard that's obviously speculation and I'm not sure a buy it, but it fits with the conspiracy side of the argument.

It seems like "they" would have just killed Clinton.

Why wait 6 or 8 years to kill Hale Boggs? Why kill Nick Begich along with him?

Are they really even dead? It was the most extensive SAR operation in history, yet nothing was found. Could they have been kidnapped and transported to a secret NWO facility for interrogation? Were Lindy Boggs and the Vatican involved?

Read Dr Mary’s Monkey by Edward Haslam. If you believe the book, and it appears to be well documented, many questions arise
