Has anyone tried Mr. Ronnie's? I'm about to give that one a try.

I like Calandro's but imo their king cakes are terrible.

I grabbed one from Harvest in Dutchtown that was good. Ambrosia is solid.

Has anyone mentioned Calandros yet? They’re my favorite. Mississippi Mud allllll day. King Cakes will forever not be king cakes without Oreos, marshmallows and chocolate.

Rosch Bakehaus is the best I’ve had. Place your order online and pick up at the pop up location on Tuesdays.

They do interesting ones, and they always offer traditional and a few of their baked breads.

Chocolate Lavender

Peanut butter and brûléed banana with smoked salt and molasses

The best king cake's are the ones that you can return for a refund. King cakes are gross no matter who makes them.

After buying several King Cakes around BR, so far the ones at Alexander's Market are the best. I just like plain though, no filling inside. And as always, you have to look for the best sell by date.
