The amount Sopsher is discussed on this board is creeping dangerously close to the infamous T. Valentine who I always thought was the biggest overblown and overweight bust to ever come to LSU. I hate the package deal crap with trying to get Ish and his brother - no one player, especially a project like Ish who takes plays off - is worth 2 scholarships. Now that his bro is reclassified to 2020 - i'm sure he's Bama bound which is damn fine by me, sick of these local Louisiana kids playing games - leave if you want to leave your state and home - Ish isn't even in the same class as someone like Devin White who didn't sell out for wins at bama. Here's to another Sopsher thread - in before someone says bitching about Sopsher thread while starting another

TLDR - Sopsher project = T. Valentine project from couple years ago, use the scholarships on someone who wants to rep Louisiana - they'll be a better player in the long haul

O has several DL visiting this weekend. Time to close the deal and move on.

Sopsher project
Sohsher is not a project, and if he goes to bama, that is really going to hurt. He may lack motivation but that is far from lacking skills and abilities.

Sopsher is a real person.

I’m not sure Valentine’s actual existence was ever substantiated.

There we go. On a totally free and open to the public message board lets bash players the coaching staff is after. hell yeah man, never having spoken one word to Sopsher lets just bash him and compare him to Valentine.

I'm sure the coaching staff really appreciates your help in recruiting. Idiot !!!

You wouldn’t have used 2 scholarships on Trevor Lawerence, Tua Tagovailoa, Leonard Fournette, Ed Oliver, etc. etc. etc. ???

A lot of kids like him take plays off. He has motivation issues and is lazy. If the staff feels confident they can fix it, I trust them.

I'm leaving MY home state to attend LSU next fall.

Even if we get Rodney he would only use like 1 or 2 years scholarship not 4.

Valentine was way worse because he actually cost us a scholarship just to eat, gain weight and not go to class. At least we can use the scholarship if Ish goes to Saban.

Bad comparison. Sopsher is a player and we want him.

I think there's a better chance Ish gets left at the alter than LSU. They have have moved on with the Mississipi DL IMO and have been recruiting ish just in case that falls through. Lord knows O has made his mistakes. But he always seems to learn from them and change for the better..ie last year CB recruiting
