I left Louisiana 20 years ago and I travel all over the country.

You sound triggered. Are you a Federline type?

Then you must be blind.

I don’t wear them. Never have. But I’m not going to act like they aren’t super popular for blacks and whites.

I have two pair of Beau Jackson's and a pair of the Andre aggasi sneakers from right around 2000. Sneakers are becoming bigger and bigger business every year, but frick it you don't see it so it's not a fact

I see it but it is people wearing it with baggy urban type clothing.

Just curious, what type of clothes do you normally wear these with? Baggy shorts and a tshirt? Jeans and a polo?

What year is it?

Even the black dudes are wearing them with slim jeans.

Wait, basic white tennis shoes are popular again?!? I knew if I kept with my 1980’s fashion styles that they would become popular again one day!

Is it true that jams and OP t-shirts are back in style too?

Baggy clothes haven't been a thing in like a decade

Right

ETA: and I don't mean that sarcastically. I don't see anyone really wearing baggy clothing anymore.

With black people? I know a lot have started wearing skinny jeans but baggy clothes are still very much a thing.

Exactly. Hip hop fashion is now super tight clothes.

Baggier clothing is coming back in to the main stream now.

This board is hilarious sometimes.

My kids (now college age) always made fun of me for wearing white tennis shoes (I am a dude of the 80s/90's).

Now they wear them.

Everything old is new again.

White shoes never really went out. When I was in high school it was the all white AF1s or Reebok’s. Now it’s Vans and similar shoes.

You will get laughed out of a shop if you show up in baggy pants. They at the very least need a strong taper.

There are a lot of people in this thread who were also saying Carhartt Isn’t in. Heron Preston just did a collab and the carhartt pieces start at $800 lmao.
