Surprised Cocker Spaniel isn't included on the second list. The two that I spent time around were the stupidest animals I've ever encountered.

I love papillons. They’re great dogs, but subject to boredom if not challenged as are all intelligent breeds

Once had a roommate that had a half border collie, half lab. Was the smartest dog ive ever encountered. Could differentiate different peoples cars driving up in the driveway just by sound. We probably could have taught that dog to open the fridge and bring beer but was scared to teach her to open the fridge lol

He definitely doesn't like to be left alone but also easily trained and great with kids.

I've only had big dogs so I was reluctant when my wife chose that breed for our then 5 year old little girl. I'd probably get 2 if had to do it over again. I had a 12 yr old lab with arthritis at the time and thought it would be too much for him having 2 little puppies around.

Too high!

I’ve got a miniature dachshund and that little boy is dumber than dirt.

I wonder if the minimization process shrinks their brains.

Didn’t even make the bottom of the list.

Low IQ dog for low IQ owners.

It was using only AKC breeds. The American Pitbill terrier is a UKC recognized breed. But they did test the other 2 main breeds that cities refer to as Pitbulls in breed-specific legislation.

The American Staffordshire Terrier was #48 (Above Average Working Dogs). That's higher than Australian Shepherds and Boxers. The Staffordshire Bull Terrier was #94 (Average Working/Obedience Intelligence). Those are less common in the United States. They're more of a British breed (where all bulldogs came from the Olde English Bulldogge (the extinct breed, not the modern recreation).

There's plenty of good Pitbill owners. I'm one of them. But almost all of them wouldn't have them if not for pits becoming a popular breed with trash, having many poorly bred in puppy mills, and them clogging up the shelters.

I'd rather have a good ol mutt dog. But most mutts have a lot more bulldog than ever. Some people would want to buy a specific breed, some prefer strays or go to shelters. Different strokes for different folks.

look at link.

They are in the 20s.

5 to 15 repetitions to learn.
Does it 85% of the time on first command.

Yep!
Mine knows the only furniture she is allowed on is the “man chair” the leather recliner in the living room. So she’ll hop in it by herself expecting me to come cuddle her as soon as the sun goes down.

She also has this new habit.
My wife gets up 45 minutes earlier than I do in the mornings for work. Soon as my vizsla hears the bedroom door open. She goes thru the dog door, takes her morning piss, then dead sprint thru the house, into our bedroom, to jump on the bed and dive under the covers to cuddle me for 45 minutes. Then moans, whines, and pouts when my alarm starts going off. Some mornings wants to stay in bed by herself haha

she’s crazy as hell but I love her.

the first year and half were hell. The hyperness, bad behaviors, destructiveness, and hole digging. Then snap.

She hit a year and a half and decide to just be the golden child all the sudden. And now I can’t imagine life without her. I don’t think my wife will let me get another vizsla, but if I ever buy a Home on a bigger piece or property 3/4th acre + it’s gonna happen. They are like no dog I’ve ever owned.

Odd, I have a 10 month old basenji husky mix that learns tricks almost immediately. Sits, shakes with both paws, lays down, knows put your paw on your sister, and speaks with very little work teaching her.
