Really disappointed.... He probably is not involved in more than 3-4 plays a game!
Not a big enough risk to lay down on his teammates and his school! Poor decision as far as I'm concerned.

It sucks for the fans and it obviously hurts our defense in the bowl game, but when i look at it from the kid’s point of view I understand it. I don’t like it but I understand it.

All of this. I want him to play too, no doubt, but I can't fault him one bit.

Just a matter of time before the nfl starts a prospects league similar to what the nba is doing and college football will be ruined. It’s hard for me to blame the kid, but it makes me sad at the same time. Football is no longer a team sport. It’s a money sport.

I don't agree with this. I get kids that are already kind of injured. But sitting out to avoid getting injured is spineless, imo.

Just curious, what percentage of the last 50 Top5 picks sat out the bowl game?

I honestly don’t know, but my guess is less than 20%

Dont blame him. Potential top 5 pick and we're not competing for a championship... and I'm sure he's looking at Fulton's injury situation as well.

Yup.

Let the man collect his millions. He’s earned it.

This should end the weekly posts about fans leaving before 4th quarter. Players quit, so can fans. It’s my “business decision” to leave early or not go at all.

I get it, I do, and he's making a smart decision. Guaranteed millions $$ awaits him. But he'll look back 10 years from now and wish he could play college football one last time. It is a shame that these kids waste away valuable experiences that you can't put a price on. I wish him great success though.

A bowl win is critical for this program. Now that Greedy has made that less likely, he will have to deal with the negative reaction to his decision.

As I said in the other thread, his teammates don't care nearly as much as you do.

Of course they don’t care. LSU is just a stepping stone to the NFL for many of them, and a way to get a free education for others. They have no loyalty to the school or to any of their teammates, only to themselves. They are truly Greedy.

Dude has a daughter. How anyone can act like the fricking Fiesta bowl should be of bigger importance to him is beyond me.

Who's next maybe White? Remember Phillips misses the first half of the bowl game because of the pussy rule.

Wish him all the best, but this is a major bowl game (and LSU's first in 7 years). Grow some nads for your teammates man

You may be right, but don't tell me they wouldn't care strongly about their Brother not suiting up with them for one last battle. They Would!

If injury/money is such a huge concern, insurance policy is an option as well.
