I hope Zachary curbstomps Acadiana. I can’t stand the Wreckin’ Rams.

Glass - you’re banned from any Newman parties I host. I want sunshine and rainbows...and no pumping up CD.

CD moved game to a Saturday....I’m ready for that bus ride home from Crowley...regardless of the results I’m still not a damn Cajun which is a win.

Southern Lab will roll LC. Lab beat themselves last week.

#12 Zachary at #19 Acadiana

There is some bad blood between these two teams that just do not like each other. The Wreckin Rams has slipped a few notches since the great coach Ted Davidson has stepped down as head coach. Although Acadiana has the home field advantage and the veer offense, Zachary gets a good test but will prove too much. Zachary wins by 2 TDs

There most definitely is some bad blood between the 2 programs.

Acadiana curbstomped Zachary several times in the playoffs by 50-60 points in the past. Zachary won the last matchup before winning their first of 2 state championships. Zachary definitely owes the wrecking rams some pay back from their past meetings.

Should be a heated game.

The wild card here will be the weather. It is supposed to rain all day Friday in Lafayette and should create a muddy field at Acadiana. That may negate some of Zachary’s speed and may play into Acadiana’s strengths.

frick Zachary and their eye gouging asses. The coach seems like he condones that shite too. Hopefully karma comes back and bites them in the arse.

I’m assuming they used those asswhippings Acadiana gave them as motivation for playing dirty the whole game

Uhigh would beat Curtis comfortably. You constantly overrate the Nola teams. Catholic will show you the difference in Curtis and Uhigh shortly

ETA; I like your posts and knowledge on high school football I just think there can be some bias at times

You do realize that OCS lead the entire game last week and Lab scored on a long pass with 12 seconds left to win right? OCS wasn’t even as good as they normally are this year.

That's because Southern Lab traditionally is all size/talent with no coaching, discipline, or heart. If they weren't illegally recruiting and intentionally staying under the 1A max they wouldn't be near as competitive.

LCA getting no love I see. I’ve been watching those kids all year on knightvision tv and went to the VC vs LCA and watching LCA play was like watching 5a football 20years ago. Yes it is a small somewhat unknown school but those kids can flat out play. LCA beats lab and it isn’t close.

Possibly, however John Ehret is at home and has too many weapons in its arsenal. John Ehret wins by at least 10.

EA doesn’t have a chance. Since Catholic burst their bubble in the second half, they have not been a great team.

Watched the Ehret/Dutchtown game online. Ehret is peaking right now. They absolutely destroyed a Dutchtown team that hung with EA most of the game. Their defense is sick, and EA’s QB makes a lot of mistakes. That should be the difference.

Yep. A lot of people saw WM up big at the half and didn’t really pay attention to what happened. The special teams gave WM a lot of those points. WM had four 3 and outs in the first half I believe. That being said, WM only returned 2 starters on offense. They’ve really grown up a lot since then. I’m really looking forward to the matchup. Hopefully we get to see it.

Not so sure. Either team could get a big lead with just a couple of plays but I really expect a dog fight.

That's all coaching to play disciplined football plus having team speed. My son graduated form LCA and my daughter will be this year. The football team has really turned around and become consistent over the last 3 years.

No superstar players and if people just look at the scores they don't realize that the defense on this team put them in position to dominate like they do. Punt returners with great speed plus teams punting form deep in their own territory equals special team scores and short field scoring opportunities. Tack on a QB who can pass and run really well and a fast and powerful running back means lopsided games, even against VC, who has a really good team.

TLDR: I don't expect a blowout though either team is capable, I'll be pulling for LCA.

I saw Curtis Rummel on tv. Curtis D Line is too strong and backs are too fast and made a top 10 team in the state look inferior.
