just checked and in the 7 games they've had to play on the road in the playoffs since 2000, they're 3-4. Not terrible, but decidedly ungreat.
I knew this and it's a massively important stat when discussing GOAT.

It doesn't elevate anyone else but it shows that Brady isn't this perfect angel baby that everyone in the media and TT9 thinks he is.

He's a remarkable QB...playing for the greatest team of all time for 18 years.

so on the road (some vs 5,000 ft elevation home field advantage in Denver/manning/elway) @ team with the better record and won 3 of 7.
Mkeh.

Wait, so is Brady the GOAT, or is Belichik the GOAT? Many people will argue until they're red in the fact that Brady is the best quarterback of all time. But if Brady's coach is the best coach of all time, it stands to reason that much of Brady's success has been due to executing (very well) a superior gameplay.

It’s pretty obvious and has been proven on this board over and over and over using stats, facts, and historical records that Brady benefits IMMENSELY more than any other big name QB from the coaching and ownership he plays under.

To the point a person would have to be a willful moron to deny it.

I already think the haters know Brady and Bill are Goats. Once they ride into the sunset, it's all eyes on Rodgers. He's pretty Goat himself.

I guess this is a way to think about it. For his entire career, assume that Rodgers would have played QB for the Pats, under Belichik, instead of Brady. With his physical and mental gifts, I think they actually win more Super Bowls, not less.

Brady already tried to sabatoge Bill from winning without him by getting Jimmy G traded.

Bill and his staff feel pretty comfortable they could win without Brady while Brady seemed pretty insecure about his prospects without the Patriots.

the longevity is what amazes me. In the NFL, a so-so team benefits from a few top quality drafts and slowly builds a team of mostly young players with a few veteran free agents. They compete for super bowls for 2 or 3 years and then all the rookie deals are up and the team can only really afford to sign a couple of superstars to long term deals and they slowly drift back into mediocrity.

The Patriots have managed to break this cycle and remain relevant for 2 decades. It really is unprecedented. (BTW having Brady accept less than max compensation for several years didnt hurt)

Eh

Bill won 11 games with Matt Cassells and 3/4 with Garrpollo and Brosette

He’s is the last coach to win a playoff game in Cleveland.

Bill B is around a .500 coach in New England in games not started by Tom BRADY. Losing record over all as an NFL Head coach in games not started by Brady.

Ignoring that first year, he's been way above 500.

He coached the brown to a playoff win.

He went 5-12 in his first year in New England, but aomince be build his machine he is 14-6 without Brady.

Brady is still a great all time QB

But he’s only in the GOAT discussion because he’s the biggest cog in Bill’s machine.

Yet another Bama fan who denigrates Bill for the sake of Brady. What is the deal with you guys? Are you so insecure that you can’t handle Bill being known as one of the greatest coaches of all time while Saban was merely a disciple who couldn’t hack it in the NFL?

What? Lol damn you’re a bitch.

Why can’t they both be goats?

More sad than weird.

If Bill doesn’t bench that cornerback Brady would prolly have one more ring.

Also it’s well known that Brady is easily the goat except on this board. And that’s because of Louisianas love for Brees. I get it. But I also love the saints and Brees, but I’m not too ignorant to see the truth.

Why do we ignore Bill’s first year? He took over a pretty good team and they lost 3 more games than the year before. Then he is 0-2 about to be 0-3 and Bledsoe gets hurt and Brady comes in and Changed Bill’s coaching career. Bill is a GREAT coach, but the fact is he may have never made it as an NFL coach without Brady.

As good as the Patriots have been one needs to admit that 6 games every year against the Jets, Dolphins and Bills has been a huge advantage for them. Playing 6 games every year against consistently terrible teams has given them home field advantages that they would not have had if they were in another division.

No one has feasted on losing teams quite like New England.

Since 2002 divisional realignment, they've faced the 4th most teams that ultimately ended up with non-winning seasons. They're 130-18 in those games, and no one else is really close.

It's also worth mentioning that Peyton Manning dominated equally shitty teams in the AFC south.

That's not true at all. QB rankings are pretty hotly debated nationally.
