The thing is, the posters on this board have let you know repeatedly that they don't care about the tariffs. For you to keep posting about tarrifs means you are either trolling the board or you think you are going to convince everyone to change their minds.

Ok none of you have answered this and several you have posted similar crap--can you point to the years since Nixon went to China that the trade deficit caused our economy to go down?? Can you give me link to any proof the trade deficit has hurt our standard of living? our overall employment? our overall wages??

What you have touted is that they are a negotiating tool and that does not seem to be working. I am saying the steel tariffs are in place because of Ross and now that Nucor is having trouble because the tariffs have hurt demand we may see some relief.
The entire point is that tariffs do not accomplish what special interest want and that has been proven time and time again in our history.
They are not a good negotiating tool and the quicker we recognize that the better..
