Infiniti or Lexus? Which is better?

Reliability? Dependability and generally just not needing to be in the shop?
Need a new full size suv and wife wants the Lexus GX 460 but I say the Infiniti QX80 bc it's bigger inside. Looking at CPO 2016 models.

Lexus is better, but I would take the QX80 over the 460. I love the blue QX80's.

Lexus - Toyota
Infiniti - Nissan
Therefore, the award goes to Lexus.

Lexus and it’s not close.

Both really Nice, but I prefer the Lexus. My Mom drives a GX and it's really nice

The Infiniti is a great vehicle but the Lexus IS money.
Now if you want to talk value it’s a different discussion. That’s when we start discussing the Acura MDX ( which I like better than the Infiniti ).

Lexus is much better and will last a lot longer if you plan on keeping it long term

Lexus, but I wouldn’t recommend either one

Why not a LX570?
Price point is significantly higher from what I'm seeing. Don't want to go that high.

Lexus GX is "mid-sized" by modern parlance. Truck based on the Land Cruiser Prado, it shares a lot of components with the 4Runner.
What you want is the LX which is the Lexus version of the full Land Cruiser. Now, that's big money, but that's a full sized truck.

Wife has a 18 qx80 and loves it.
Had a g35x before and loved it too, lasted her almost 10 years, was still in great shape but needed an upgrade in size.
My only gripe is the infotainment tech is very dated and for a luxury vehicle I would have expected LED interior lights and such as my Dodhe even has that

One of the little füts has had a ‘17 GX460 for a year.
Zero issues, wonderful vehicle.
Personally always felt Toyota >>> Nissan across the board.
I’ve owned 3 different Lexus vehicles for a cumulative 14 years (~300k total miles) with zero breakdowns between the three.
No personal experience with Infiniti vehicles other than as rental cars.
