La Liga to start playing games in the US.

La Liga will begin playing at least one league match each season in the U.S., starting in early 2019, probably in Miami. Details here: LINK

Funny how European soccer fans are going ballistic about this news while us Americans have been dealing with NFL teams going to London for years.

If they aren’t sending Real, Barca, or Atleti will people even attend? The casual fan doesn’t know or care to go watch Betis v Sevilla. If one of the big teams come I’m sure they won’t send the stars, so that will hurt attendance.

This seems like a bad idea IMO, though if Real comes I’ll 100% be there.
