So are each of the movies supposed to be a different dimension based off this? And are we just going to be teased with alien monsters at the end of every movie? what the frick is going on haha

It really didn't answer any questions about the Cloverfield monster. Other than lip service to "hey, dimensional rips, and demons and monsters and shite."

The movie was a let down.

It really pissed me off when they went to uncouple the damaged section of the space station, and the commander was climbing across that beam like it was monkey bars. Bruh, there ain't no gravity in space - you can just float over.

I didn't think this movie was particularly good, and I didn't expect the movie TV board to think it was good either, but I did think it was something that this board would debate the shite out of.

It's bullshite what they are doing! Is it cheaper or easier to take other movie ideals and rework them to be Cloverfield movies? Just make original follow ups. Paradox was a shite show and seems like instead of answering questions they created more, due to making a non Cloverfield movie and prequel/sequel. The only reason Cloverfield Lane worked was cuz it felt like a separate movei in the same universe. Didn't try to hard to tie itself to the first one or answer questions. It is like Split is to The Unbreakable universe.

I really liked the chick from Memoirs of a Geisha's death scene. You thought she was going to drown in that water and then BOOM! Flash frozen.

This movie had literally no plot.

You just go from frame to frame wondering wtf then the last frame of the movie is the Big arse Cloverfield monster.

I think I'm going to go ahead and subscribe to this theory that there is a Shepherd crew in each one of these dimensions attempting to fire off the super space laser or whatever the frick it was, and each Dimension keeps fricking the next Earth over.

One Shepherd crew caused the Cloverfield monster from the 08 film, another Shepherd crew brought the Alien Invasion Force at the end of 10 Cloverfield Lane, and so on.

Now I know that doesn't line up timeline wise, but other than this last film I don't know if any of them actually are clear as to what year it is. I believe those alternate reality games paint a better picture as to what year these films take place.

I like it for the simple fact they can do anything now and just say "every movie is a parallel universe, monsters show up because of time space frick up." No movie ever has to give us a reason now why the monsters are there, which has been question number one since the first.

Otherwise, yeah it sucked for being your basic semi-horror sci-fi space thriller. Though I loved the arm thing, it was funny as shite.

Best scene was the guy's hand telling them to look inside that other guy.

Visually the movie was very surprising for a film not shown in theaters.

The conflict with the alternate universe crew member was intriguing but the twist at the end was a bit cliché.

Overall the movie was a decent popcorn flick but not one I plan to watch again anytime soon.

Although the visuals were amazing, this movie was god awful. My wife and I tapped out after 40 minutes.

No discernible plot
Terrible dialog
Terrible film scoring (which can ruin a movie)
