If reports are true, he cannot threaten a congressional committee and its chairman for doing their jobs, just because he tires of it.

He has given Trump the rope to hang him, and the President will likely be more than happy to oblige. If he made the threats he needs to be gone and gone now.

Without Rosenstein, Mueller loses his political protection. And a second Special Prosecutor likely gets named, which is the end of Hillary, and the FBI and Deep State coup too.

Out of a job and into a jail cell sounds like a good plan

Poor optics. I think it should happen, but the left is in a fervor at the moment. It should be investigated first.

I hope he is fired before seeing any rebuttals of the partisan memo or underlying support documents

You think these investigations are crazy now? Wait and see what happens if this comes to pass..

The two witnesses need to sign sworn testimony and maybe others will get brave.

All in good time, but it won’t be the president that fires him.

If he actually threatened them like that it is absurd that he hasn't been fired already.

I'm very skeptical this happened.

From what we know, Trump should not fire anyone. He’s probably winning the PR battle for the first time since the investigation was launched.

Trump obvuously knows more than we do, however. He usually makes the right decision.

Firing a Republican - Rosenstein would be a very bad move. Trump wiping out the Justice Department and FBI investigating him is Nixonian. How did it work for Dick?

Firing Rosenstein is a DNC/MSM Political Complex wet dream. They will then run around hitting walls shouting obstruction!

Also, Rosenstein is the main argument for a special investigation into Dirty Democrat Dossier inspired Obama Administration unmasking, leaking collusion with DNC, MSM, and Hillary. As a potential witness-target Rose cannot appoint. Sessions will!

White House will not fire Rosenstein or Mueller. It’s just pablum the MSM feeds the baby libtards.

Why does Trump have to fire him?

Can't Sessions do it?

His only crime is appointing Meuller. Then, when he is replaced, his replacement will shut down the investigation. That’s been the goal of all of this.

Which reports are you talking about?

Not doubting you. I just haven’t seen any reports.

This is all getting out of had. It's to the point that we need to gut every single damn thing the government has its hands in all the way up to top. This Bush League bullshite is sickening knowing these people have our lives in there hands.

Am curious if Rosenstein was already a part of the 5th column prior to being appointed by Trump or if he was turned later?

Listen. If you piss off an AG, by doing your job, then they are legally allowed to threaten you with the full weight of their office.

... Democrats.

It would be much better if the persons he threatened filed a public intimidation complaint against him which would, if true, force him to resign.
