I'm using private internet access and it slows my CPU down so bad and doesn't even display most sites

Anyone recommend one?

I used PIA in the past and never had trouble. My subscription expired and didn't renew it as I don't need it much anymore.

I use Windscribe free version now if I need VPN for something now.

Former PIA user.

I now highly recommend ExpressVPN. Doesn't disconnect. Extremely reliable and safe. Plus, the speeds are significantly better.

I use VPN Unlimited, only because i saw it on sale for $30 for a lifetime subscription. Kills my phone battery if I leave it on all day though

Speaking of this. I've never gotten one notice from att, I get a vpn two weeks ago and just got one yesterday.

What's up with that?

I use vpn for privacy and security and don’t research the best way to pirate. However, the basic principles are probably the same so take it for what it’s worth.

1. Are you using free or paid vpn. Free is more likely to sell or provide your data.
2. Is your vpn any good?
3. Do you have webRTC disabled
4. Do you have dns leak protection (eg is your dns leaking)
5. Do you have a vpn kill switch (does your vpn disconnect and leave you still connected in the clear.
6. Do you have a separate “clean” browser that you use when trying to preserve anonymity (no gmail signed in, extensions, etc)

If you can’t answer these questions then you’ll need to do a bit of research before you try and use a vpn for anything more than basic encryption.

Also, stop stealing a-hole.

NordVPN. You're Welcome.

if you want privacy and speed. Top notch privacy. I was a bit worried because online reviews said it was slow...

I've never had an issue with it, granted I don't torrent. But browsing and crushing youtube barely ever have a hiccup.

It is more expensive, but in my opinion, it is justified.

Don't drop a connection and speeds are double of what I used to get with PIA.

PIA works just fine

only issue I had was their UK ips were not working with bbciplayer but they added some new ones and works great.
