Maybe I'm wrong, but I was under the impression TV manufacturers had mostly corrected a lot of the glare issues with TVs in recent years, especially since moving away from plasma screens. If that's actually the concern. I know I agonized over that when I bought our living room TV 9 years ago, and opted against the plasma I REALLY wanted.
It's probably time to update mine as well. It's started acting a little wonky. Cutting itself off and on, losing HDMI signal on every HDMI input from time to time, etc.

Glare was a big concern... just from what I read the OLEDs were supposed to be not as bright especially the earlier models. That one I posted is supposed to be relatively bright and better for bright rooms.
