If he doesn't end up in Cleveland or Jacksonville I'll be disappointed.

I think Jacksonville could wreck shop with Cousins and Cleveland with Cousins plus two top five picks is atleast a chance.

Have the skins franchised tagged him twice already or would this be the second time?

For sure but he won’t carry a team to the Super Bowl

He puts up great stats but comes up small in big games.

I'm sure Skins fans would say this if they had resigned him.

Ask any skins fan who watches him every week

And of course he’s lighting up the last few weeks after we got eliminated from playoff contention

If he doesn’t stay on the Skins I think he ends up in Denver. A ready made team.

Jags and Denver have teams that just need a QB to compete. Jags have the weaker division. Denver is the bigger market.

It will be very interesting. I’ll say Jags, because I think they have more money as most of their team is young and not signed to big contracts.

He is just not that great and shits the bed in almost every big game. He is a .500 QB that puts up nice stats (especially after there is nothing to play for). He is asking for 30M a year. The 3rd franchise tag is going to be 34M for a season. They are going to tag him again, then shop him for picks if he won't sign long term. If they don't find the right deal, they'll keep him for next season.

My prediction is they fire Gruden and hire a new GM/President. Their first big move will be to mend the fences with Cousins and then he will sign a huge contract. So he will end staying with the Redskins..

As a Skins fan...I would rather invest the money elsewhere

SCH nailed it already...

And I know the Skins have lots of problems, but come crunch time, Kirk is not the man.

When KC leaves Washington they will be lucky to win 4 games. They have nothing but constantly blame KC for their problems.

I can't imagine the work environment KC has to work in. They have basically been telling him you are not good enough but we have no other options.

He will win where ever he goes and as bad as NFL QB play is he will get a premium contract.

Of course you can, but he isn't carrying that team.

As a Redskins fan, no fricking chance I pay him $30M+ and handicap the rest of the roster.

Another vote for Jags, just don't think it will happen. My guess is the Jags pick up a QB in the draft, 2nd or 3rd round. Would say Denver is where he'll end up or stay put.

He outplayed Russell Wilson and Drew Brees in "big games" and should have won both. Seattle was on the road and he had zero offensive line. Was one of the more impressive QB performances I've seen in a lifetime of watching the NFL. Saints game obviously wasn't his fault.

You could say the same thing about Drew Brees from 2007-2008 and 2012-2016. It's the lack of talent around Cousins, not Cousins himself.

Only from the Redskins, who have lowballed him repeatedly for 3 years now, misrepresented their contract offers in the media to try and sway public opinion against Cousins to Redskins fans, and pisspronounced his name intentionally to frick with him. The Redskins have backed themselves into a corner. Guarantee you that Cousins would happily take the Matt Stafford deal (probably even a teeny bit less) to sign with another team for a long term deal. Dude has been a Pro Bowl NFL starting QB for 4 years now and can't fricking buy a house in his own city b/c his team has treated him so poorly. Dude fricking has a family with small kids and RENTS b/c he has no commitment from Redskins. Disgraceful.

This is why you guys are the worst fanbase of any major league sports town.

Only you retards would side with lowballin' Daniel Snyder and Bruce "Kurt" Allen over an (easily) top 10 NFL QB who was only asking for a fair contract these past 3 years. Oh, and he's a great guy and teammate as well - plays hurt, teammates love him, etc. Everything you could ask for in an NFL QB.

Can't wait to see Cousins make a Super Bowl with Denver or Jacksonville and see you spinning him as the new Trent Dilfer or some shite.

I don't know what your issue is with the Skins. But you are totally off base. Redskins have offered him fair market deals each of the past few offseasons. He wants to be the highest paid QB in the league. He wants and will get 30M a year. He has never proven to be that QB. You can try to point to individual games all you want, he isn't elite. He straight up lost us the Saints game and many others.

Also, we aren't falling off a ledge without him. We have the best back up QB in the league (McCoy) and the market will have a ton of great options. I'd rather sign Tyrod Taylor or Bridgewater to more reasonable deals and add more talent. Redskins are .500 with or without him..

The cardinal sin in management of NFL teams is overpaying for players. The Redskins are the poster child of that. You'll have to excuse us for not wanting anything to do with that.
