Mental gymnastics are a staple in the O-Flake narratives. He’s 4-2 vs ranked teams in reality yet somehow you managed to change it to 1-4 with a false narrative. Truly amazing. When you beat someone their ranking drops if wedve lost those games the opponents ranking would’ve improved but you’dve used that against him too. So if he wins and knocks teams down he loses if he loses and teams improve their ranking he loses. This is what you people do you alter the facts to set up no win scenarios. You may think it’s clever but it’s easily spotted and pathetic.

Mental gymnastics to look at a team’s ranking at the end of the year to gauge how good they were?
Even if you prefer to look at rankings at the time the game was played, he is 4-3, not 4-2.
That also means he got beat by 30 by an unranked MSU team

You do realize that those teams continue to play other games after playing us right?
If they are good, they will win those other games, and rise up in the rankings again. If they aren’t good, then they lose, and they don’t.

In all seriousness O and the staff deserve a lot of credit for turning the season around when it could have went really bad.
With that said I wouldn't say 9-3 is something to be completely celebrating like its some milestone. We ripped Les for dropping games he shouldn't have. This is also one of the weaker schedules in year. Auburn Bama and MSU are all very good teams but 5 of the 8 other SEC teams fired their coaches or was playin with an interim . I saw improvements as the season went on, so there are no excuses for next year with the momentum. New QB's can lead your team to the playoffs, that has been established already.
hopefully one of the two QB's on can step up and help build a better passing game. We need to wrap up and have a nice finish for NSD.
Next year will be extremely telling of the future of O and LSU football. With a lot tougher schedule and with a state full of the nations best talent. O needs to capitalize on that and haul in a top class.

This was one of the main issues with Mark Richt at Georgia and why he was fired at the end, he beat the teams you were supposed to but dropped most of the ones that matters.

Credit for the obvious u moron!! He is the leader of a team who has been trending upwards for the last 3/4's of the season. If any of u butt hurt fake fans think all Coach O does during a game is wear a headset to look the part and that's it then that segment of so called fans are stupid. To think a head coach doesn't do anything related to coaching on the sidelines during a game is just plain ignorance. Man, we got some dumbass fans.

Pre season we were picked to win 9 games so people like you said if he doesn’t win 10 he’s a failure. Now that he’s on the verge of winning 10 you’re scrambling to find excuses that devalue it. It’s so obvious and pathetic.

Recruiting doesn’t bother me and honestly I don’t think anybody runs a completely clean program at the highest levels. Now can’t be ole miss crazy but honestly they didnt get hammered nearly as hard as I expected and was a quick decision. What they did to Miami was just terrible making them wait that long on a decision hurt them more than anything they did to ole miss

He hasn't had time to prove himself good or bad, so why are so many fans crying doom and gloom? It hasn't happened yet.
I didn't support hiring O as head coach, but I'm damn sure not rooting against him, he's our coach and I root for LSU.

Why are the playoffs and bowl games determined by the final rankings?
Could it be because where teams are ranked at the end of the season with the full season played out is the best measure of a team?
