If uverse internet were worth a damn on my street I'd consider that but it's like 18 Mbps so Cox is the only choice.

Don’t trust that. Mine package for Internet is 25 and I’m in the 32/34 range. Plenty enough for me.

I hear ya. My Comcast is only 25 Mbps right now, uverse claims it will be at least 25 at my house. Even if it is close, i shouldn't notice a difference. Especially since I won't be streaming much

the funny thing is, 18mbps is enough for 99% of users.

casual browsing requires nowhere near that much. one hd stream requires like 5mbps, and a 4k stream is like 15mbps. Ping rates are more critical to gamers than higher speeds.
