A diner at a Long Beach, Calif., restaurant recently called out the business for passing off Popeyes fried chicken as its own, according to Foodbeast.com. The diner claims he saw box of Popeyes being spirited into the kitchen at Sweet Dixie Kitchen after he ordered fried chicken. He tasted it and he knew.

That doesn't seem very cost effective.

If anyone remembers Fricken Chicken on Burbank it always tasted like their biscuits were just Popeyes' with more butter.

So the owner admits it?

Serious question: how are there not rules against this?

Server: Today's special is a flame-grilled cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, and pickles. That is served with a side of fries. And that is going to be $16.

Customer: I'll have that.

Server: Certainly, excellent choice. One of the chef's specials.

Walks across the street to Burger King, throws everything on a plate

Server: Enjoy your meal. I should also note that a 20% gratituity is automatically added to your bill.

Nothing wrong with subcontracting these days.

Is the service better? If so, I'd probably allow it.
