Nope. This is O trying to convince the world that this shite season has nothing to do with him.

But it's his fricking fault. You are telling me that through 8 games last season, all of the off season and now 5 games in, he finally says we don't have a kicker.

Why didn't he recruit one? Why didn't he look across LA for anyone willing to just walk on? He's had way too much time.

He had no real plan for special teams, and this "coach by committee" approach wasn't any grand plan, just a last minute solution to a problem he failed to address in time.

Coach O is the NCAA coaching version of Donald Trump

Like you said, it's going to be the blame game the rest of the way.

It's pretty simple. Ed Orgeron does not have his team prepared to play this season. He doesn't deserve to be the coach.

Most of you get creamy hearing Saban giving straight tough talk about his players performance but now cry when O does the same?

Here's Nick Saban after a loss where his kickers went a combined 2/6.

I don't think it's that big of a deal. Our place kickers do suck. My high school coach used to say this all the time and it would piss us off and we'd set out to prove him wrong.

With that being said, O should have a fricking special teams coach.

You're glad O threw a player under the bus in a public manner.. instead of giving the criticism to the player in private?

Did he say it on a radio show with tens of thousands of listeners? When your answer is "no", maybe you will realize how fricking stupid it is to compare what your high school coach said in front of your 50 teammates to what Orgeron just did to his players.

This time the kickers. I mean, we all see it, that doesn’t mean you have to say it publicly

He's what 56,57? This has nothing to do with being a "head coach" this is just poor leadership.Who the hell in a staff meeting says,"we don't have any accountants worth a darn?"

Use your brain,Ed.

I don't see why he won't at least give Culp another chance. Gonsoulin is hopeless. If not Culp, then try Gamble. They can't be any worse.

You might as well forget about GoodOleLess. His reign of terror is over . Don't you find it at least suspicious that with all the coaching changes , GoodOleLess & his "team" are still unemployed. Not even Florida A&M came calling . Not even "Last Chance University" was interested. Just remember the good old days, when you could suck his balls after every 9-4 season.

you mean as far as overall (aka, stars/rating)?

K are never rated high. For example, the #1 kicker is just a 3*. People forget alot of these rankings (overall) are NFL projections, not CFB projections. The best K with the highest rating is still going to be lower than the 3rd best OT in the NFL draft; and that's what the overall stars is trying to equate (or at least it's a big part of the thinking by 247).

Culp was the #7 kicker nationally, #12 player in AZ overall. Which, side note, that also tells me AZ is hurting for talent. Again, using that #1 K as an example he was 38th in state of MI as the #1 K.

Our kicker this year is 2 for 5 with a long of 29 yards. Our other kicker can barely kick the ball 40 yards.

Do they relative to most other teams? And is it because they aren't capable? Most of the talking head former coaches tell you that kicking is at least 50% mental for the guys who have the ability to kick (we have at least one of those). Throwing them under the bus publicly and not providing consistent special teams coaching probably doesn't help.

Just my thoughts.
