No it doesn't. It is pure Bs. Just an excuse for people like you to make excuses for people you like, and shite on those you don't.. even though both may have performed exactly the same way. That's all it is. Plain and simple.

I would love Aranda to be our HC truth be told so no worries here. He certainly needs to work on motivating his players however.

LSU'S defense will be back. I don't see how we could play so sorry Sat. Aranda will get things fixed!

This doesn't make any sense.

Just ignore him, nothing he says makes sense. I stopped responding to him yesterday.

Lol. In your hate infested mind over O, I'm sure it doesn't. Not wasting anymore time with short bus posters.

IDGAF about the past.

this is just plain silly. Past experience in any field (not just football) is the best indicator of future success.

You can't ignore the past. Sure, past events must be taken in context to truly assess their importance and relevance, but you can't simply ignore them.

Fire Alleva; "promote" O to AD; elevate Aranda to HC. Problem solved.

That's the craziest thing about last weekend. People on here were ready to run Aranda off after 1 bad game

Forgive me for being objective and giving a guy a chance from mistakes of 10 years ago.....especially given that he has worked under some very successful head coaches since then. Ole miss then and Lsu now are two different programs. I'm not even an O fan. I do know I'm wasting my time trying to reason with o haters.

You can't be objective while ignoring the past.

He's one of the best in the business.
Our fanbase is just too ignorant to see this, all the majority see are W/L on the schedule.

I can't believe people actually tried to put the blame on him. Just wait until these new guys have a season with him under their belt.

I made a great career and life out of being objective. I think I'll rely on my experiences and success in life rather than listen to someone who probably is yet to have a real job.

I honestly see him as "coach in waiting"...I would take a chance on him as head coach! The guy is meticulous, well spoken, sharp as hell, all business, and represents the university well.I hope O does well and has a very successful stint, but if not, I would take a chance on Aranda. Let's face it, would you trust Alleva on the next hire? At least Aranda has the intangibles if not the head coaching experience

It's a total overreaction by our fans. They pick and choose who gets the blame when it was a total team let down due to some misfortune from flags, and the game got out of hand.

Everyone keeps saying how Os team doesn't have discipline, yet last year when he took over, our football team cut out many of the penalties, played hard as frick, and kicked some arse, when most people said they would lay down for Ole Miss and Arkansas. They responded after every tough game. I expect nothing less even with a young team.

We have good coaches people. We will build this team into something special with time. If you look at the players we have brought in lately, they are tough football players with great skill, look at what we were left with and you can see a difference. Give it some time but no doubt LSU has to play much better than they did Saturday but I expect to see a change immediately.

We will build some momentum back up, get our DL depth back where it needs to be for the Florida game and then we'll see what happens then. O does have to beat a ranked team IMO to prove himself. He has to start winning games that people think we have no shot with or will lose against. They have to start making good decisions as a staff. This team must respond and cut the penalties out while creating TOs. Let's see what happens from here. GT
