So, we're expanding the definition of "cooked" to include shite piled on top of shite?

Yeah, that's a pretty liberal use of the term "being cooked".

Only fast food place i have heard of serving booze was Miami subs. And they served beer and you could get a bottle of Dom Pérignon with those burgers.

Taco Bell has always been the place you went to AFTER you're done drinking.

Have you ever been to the Krystal in the French Quarter? A taco bell nearby like this would print money.

Thank you for the business idea

Half of the appeal of a Taco Bell if not more, is quick, "fast" access to "mexican" food. Closing the drive through, just to serve a margarita seems like a FAIL. If i can see that why can't the people making millions of dollars to do this see it?

Maybe, just maybe, you're wrong?

Can you imagine how much infrastructure will be needed for the shitters in that place? Gonna need to set up the bathrooms like Buc-ee's for all the traffic.

I snuck beer into Taco Bell all the time in college. It was real easy and a real god time.

I live about three blocks from the one in Chicago, which was the first in the country to sell booze. I've seen hour long waits around 1-2am before, people love the opportunity to pair a Baja Blast margarita with their drunk food.

Their carnitas is badass.

They have one of these Taco Bell Cantinas in Fayetteville on Dickson St. It was slammed when it opened this summer. But now, not so much. I've never tried it. There's a badass street tacos once 4 doors down, and most bars let you bring food inside. So to me, it just seems like an unnecessary gimmick.

I take it you've never been to a taco Cabana? It's basically exactly what Taco Bell is trying to achieve. It's pretty nice to have a super quick and cheap taco spot with beer/margaritas to go

Well, you don't HAVE to go to a TB with a bar in it. If you want TB drive thru, go to one with a drive thru. Have you ever been to a Mexican joint on taco Tuesday? Jesus Cristo, it gets slammed. This is a good move on Taco Bell's part. I can see it being popular.
