I'll never forget Moss throwing up his hand and proceeding to blow by DeAngelo Hall(one of the fastest players in the NFL in his prime) for the TD.

Randy Moss is the best WR I've ever seen. He's better tahn all of those guys bar none.
He could play in the league right now if he wanted to pad his stats. Wouldn't be at a pro bowl level but he could play.

Megatron perhaps? Could do everything Randy could do AND could run through linebackers/defensive backs, a Beast Mode out there.

"Randy Moss is the best player in football." - John Madden
When has anyone said that over a QB besides Jerry Rice in the recent modern era?
Maybe TD?

No he wasn't.
Because GOAT isn't about deep threat freak.
GOAT is about dependibility, going over the middle, the little catches as well as the homerun. Not having alligator arms when you hear footsteps.
Rice made a career of going over the middle in front of linebackers back when they could take your head off and taking them to the house.
Moss made a career of sideline fly patterns...and avoiding traffic.
Moss is Goat homerun hitter over Cliff Branch and nobody could cover him deep but he's not on the level of overall best receiver like Rice who did everything well, didn't hide from defenders and didn't take plays off.

Very legit points. I'm sold.

Yeah Moss was basically 6'4" Desean Jackson if I'm reading that correctly.

There is literally nobody in history better than prime Randy Moss, so #1
Stupid thread. Dumbest question I've ever seen... not to be harsh or anything

This is just untrue. Rice is the greatest football player of all time. Also, any WR list that doesn't include Don Hutson in it's top 5 isn't worth anything. Hutson's resume craps on everybody but Rice's. Hutson played 11 years. During that time he led the league in receptions 8x, receiving yards 7x and receiving TDs 9x, while being All-Pro 8x. Plus he still holds over 25 NFL receiving records. Guy is always overlooked in these threads..
