General Kelly didn't sink the uss forrestal like John McCain did

Had his father not been an admiral McCain would have been court martialed for that one.

Rep. Luis Gutierrez was dead wrong for saying what he said. That said, I did lose some respect for John Kelly for taking a job in the Trump administration.

Why?
Don't we want our "Best and Brightest" influencing policy?

What was Gutierrez doing while he chose to avoid serving? Living like a leach off the affirmative action govt dole, community organizing like Hussein?

At least Trump was paying taxes and creating jobs.

Gutierrez wouldn't know who Gen Kelly was if he weren't appointed by Trump.

As far as the congressman and other irresponsible members of congress are concerned, they have the luxury of saying what they want as they do nothing and have almost no responsibility. They can call people liars but it would be inappropriate for me to say the same thing back at them. As my blessed mother used to say “empty barrels make the most noise.”

The congressman has a right to his opinion.

If only Trump could/would respond to criticism that succinctly.

I find Trump's leadership style to be a disgrace and antithetical to the leadership style instilled in military officers.

Just my opinion.

My disrespect and criticism for McCain comes from his actions and words as a senator, and not for his military service. I think Trump was wrong as I do Gutierrez for his ill advised remarks of Kelly's service.

He insulted every soldier that has ever been taken prisoner. Effectively.

He has a solid, hard-working background. Just stuck his foot in his mouth with Kelly.

Gutiérrez said that he's "tired of all this 'I love them, they're great, but don't expect me to help them' " rhetoric from Republicans. "If I saw someone in need and I did nothing, I'd be defacing my own humanity."

LINK - Chicago Tribune

Looks like James O'Keefe has a new project. Can't wait to see hidden cams of Gutierrez defacing his own humanity.

As a former Military Officer who know plenty of officers that worked in the beltway, John McCain is a huge douchebag. He gives no shits for the military and loves the Military Industrial Complex. He sold his soul and consistently shits on veterans.....I mean the VA in his home district is a joke when you would think he would ensure it was the gold standard of VAs....why is that?
