Kelly finally responded to the personal attack in an email to Fox News on Sunday — and it’s exactly what you would expect from a seasoned military veteran:
As far as the congressman and other irresponsible members of congress are concerned, they have the luxury of saying what they want as they do nothing and have almost no responsibility. They can call people liars but it would be inappropriate for me to say the same thing back at them. As my blessed mother used to say “empty barrels make the most noise.”
The congressman has a right to his opinion.

I completely agree with the sentiment boosie, but objectively I think it's fair to say there is a small portion of Americans that "get" what the uniform stands for...

Okay, take the Gold Star Father out of the equation. How about talking shite about a retired Marine Corps 4 Star General. One that started his career serving the USA by hitchhiking across the country at 16 to join the Merchant Marines. Then he enlisted in the Marine Corps for Vietnam. Earned the rank of Sgt before coming home and going to college. Upon graduation he was commissioned as a 2nd Lt in the Infantry. Oh yeah he is only 1 of 2 USMC officers to earn a battlefield promotion to General Officers....so is he still a disgrace? SMDH at how stupid liberals can be!

It's douchey now and it was douchey then. It's about consistency and principle rather than my team versus your team.
