I went to orientation at TCU in 2006. It was a two day event. I walked out day one and didn't go back, it was that bad. Fortunately my parents lived not too far away so I was able to go home, and since I was an athlete I had the athletic coordinators handle my class registration. There was no need for me to be there
They did skits/songs even worse than that when I was there. It was cringe worthy

I don't have video, but you should see the dance/song that LSU has been doing for orientation. It's on par with this.

I have zero recollection which"popular" song was brutalized as the big musical number during my orientation. I just remember it being cringeworthy.
In retrospect - May have been a series of psy ops exercises in which everyone was made to feel so uncomfortable it would trigger instinctual group bonding.
