That's a subtle brag? Damn near the entire inner loop is 800-1M on the low end for an actual house if you want to go over 2000 square feet. There are clearly thousands of people in the same 2 square miles as me who are clearly far better off.

I'm not exactly asking the OT for the best place to get my Ferrari's brakes checked.

Spending $800k on a house is always going to raise eyebrows on a board comprised mostly of people from Louisiana.

People put too much on drive time in Houston area.

Everywhere is a drive, no matter what. Time is of no consequence when providing quality of life.

Plus, You're gaining property value. Houses sell in Spring and Tomball, Woodlands the next day. For great profit.

It's also mostly been underwater. Live outside the loop, pocket the additional 400k, spend it on a new F250 with Tnuts, baw.

Are houses in the inner loop really worth that much? I can get a 2000 sq ft house around White Rock Lake in Dallas for 450k. Or more specifically the Lake Highlands area of dallas
