Why specifically aren't they all ready? I just read he said 105 of the 120 pumps are working. I don't follow NOLA politics at all, so just wondering how much of it falls on him, or if the City Council has gotten in the way, of it's a failure across the baord.

From what I understand there are multiple turbines that are not operational and over a dozen pumps. I don't know exactly how long they've been in this state, but long enough for this to have been needing attention months ago. They are saying it will take months before they are all operational again.

Mitch can pass the blame as much as he wants, but technically he is head of the S&WB. I won't place 100% of the blame on him, but it's really shitty of the people at S&WB who came out after the fact to say they had known about this.

I can see as many as 5 or 6 being inoperable, but 15? Once you get past 5 start putting in some rush orders. Damn.
