I'm seeing more and more stuff like this article. It seems like the silent majority is slowly realizing that the whole SJW construct is hollow.

quote:

“Remember that it is not he who gives abuse or blows who affronts, but the view we take of these things as insulting. When, therefore, any one provokes you, be assured that it is your own opinion which provokes you.”

quote:

Harrumphing “that offends me!” has no bearing on any argument, pro or con. It’s a non sequitur revealing naught but a delicate constitution.

quote:

It’s now very common to hear people say, “I’m rather offended by that,” as if that gives them certain rights. It’s no more than a whine. It has no meaning, it has no purpose, it has no reason to be respected as a phrase.

This is basically why I voted for Trump.

Because him being President was going to blow up the entire culture of being offended.

"People who don't get offended are insecure, take no self-responsibility, and have no sense of purpose in life. I pray for them." -- spiritual guru J.P. Sears

This 3-minute YouTube video will change your mind about getting offended: LINK. And if it doesn't, then I'm offended by that.

Time to return to the old standard: Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me.

Ten years ago the phrase " you have no right to not be offended" was repeated on this board and through the broader society constantly. And now that self- evident wisdom is completely foreign to millions of young Progs, pillaging through our societal values like they are getting paid overtime.
